The house, bigger than expected, aircon in all rooms, two bathrooms, beautiful garden! Lovely pool (I thought it would be small but worked great for us with young children). Location near some of the nicest beaches in Majorca, beaches were busy as high season, but the town never seemed noisy, the house is in a very quiet location and we could always get a parking space opposite. The local shop is also great for bakery products, and the restaurant on the beach lovely in evening when quieter. We didn't try the other bars in Cala Llombards , but ate out at Santanyí once, and Es Llombards which had a lovely organic restaurant. There are lots of shops in Santanyi.

Lovely property, good location. The pool area is great to hang out at and the games room in the basement is a good addition. Kitchen was well equipped and everything in the house seemed to work !

My third time staying here, the location and outlook is fabulous down to the beach, the food is really tasty and healthy selection of salads etc daily. I am a vegetarian, and plenty of choice.
The staff are friendly, its just a nice getaway and value for money.
Facing the beachfront, Grupotel Rocador - Adults Only offers 3-star accommodation in Cala d´Or and has a fitness centre, garden and shared lounge.

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I arrived quite late due to the flight delay but they prepare the small dinner for me. It was very pleasant! The hotel is located just on the cliff with fantastic view to the sea bay which is, by the way, one of the most beautiful on the east south coast of Majorka!
5 minutes (max) to walk down to the beach. Food is good and always with verity of dishes for the dinner. The bay, itself, is so beautiful with small nice cafes!
But still If you are boring, :( - take the boat trip along the coast, its marvelous.
What surprised me: you need to pay for beach towel and for safe at the room, it was unexpected and inconvenient.

It is a naturally beautiful cala, and the sea colour towards the entrance is an amazing blue. The water for swimmers is clean and at some times of the year is clear right up to the beach. Currently, however, guests might be disappointed to find the water they swim in to be a less attractive green colour. There are official boards displayed, explained this is seasonal and not in any way dangerous. Nearby calas with perfect water can be found - the other advantages of Cala Santanyí might outweigh this seasonal blip.
Getting to the beach from Pinos Playa hotel takes some degree of fitness/ agility depending on how you go, but the hotel lift is bonus!
For travellers with late flights there is an excellent luggage room with good loo and shower facilities in hotel basement.
Pinos Playa staff, including domestic and bar staff, are ever cheerful and helpful. Cheaper options still have very adequate rooms and can be amazing value.
Spar shop and Es Pontas restaurant are superb.

Cala Santanyi is a warm cristal clear calm water beach, with fine sand, 2 restaurants serving by the beach, some hotels around.
The beach is not very long, meaning it can easily get packed of people in super high season (august) but was perfectly fine in september.there are basically 2 sides with services, I was in the side where Hotel Pinus Playa is, and there there were 3 restaurants in wich we went to 2 and a minidespar supermarket that was very usefull for breakfest and amenities.

2-3 good restaurants. Best value opposite hotel but this is easily booked up
Limited public transport but a nice walk to Santanyi town and good shops/market there

Idyllic setting.
Idyllic setting. Perfect for keen swimmers, but degree of fitness needed for many steps (though there is an easier way to beach from hotel via road). Some cliff-top walks as well. Small restaurant opposite hotel has 5-star food at very reasonable prices. Otherwise did not explore farther. Bus service exists, but not plentiful. Taxis to town and other beaches bookable from hotel or by phone - first-rate and all metered. Car parking seemed to be available nearby.

Small beach hidden away, but still with great views. Lovely beach bars and restaurants. Very safe with children, but also fun for more adventures jumping from thd cliffs sourrounding the area. Water has beautiful colours and is very clean. There are guards watching over the swimmers.
