Pool bar is good .. We didn't use any wellness facilities..

The most hospitable and lovely hosts live downstairs. we felt immediately welcomed. it was spcious and apotlessly clean. the pool is huge and the location is central to the area. we had a wonderful stay!

By far, one of the best resorts on Menorca - a long-term favourite with a wide range of attractions just a short car journey, bus ride or walk away. Extremely popular destination for British/French families and couples. Something for everyone with three major, well-appointed hotels (Minura Cala Galdana, Meliá Cala Galdana and ARTIEM Audax adults only) and many comfortable/affordable apartments.

I had read in several guide books that Cala Galdana was too built-up and commercialized, but we did not find that. The town is very small and not too crowded and the beach was great. Bus service there, however, is quite limited. Much better to have a car.

Cala Galdana is a small resort and there is a limited choice of places to eat and drink and its not great value for money compared to when we visited Cuitadella and noticed how much cheaper it was there.
There are only a couple of small supermarkets so if you want a 'big' shop for self catering you would have to venture to Cuitadella (about 30 minutes away) by bus or taxi.
There seems to be a mosquito problem as all 4 of us were bitten quite badly - this seemed to be in the evenings when out in the restaurants / bars.
The beach is beautiful and it is worth renting the sunbed and umbrella for a lovely relaxing day. You are however allowed to put your towel and own umbrella on the beach. We hired a self drive boat for a couple of hours which was good fun. Its worth taking your snorkel and mask as the bay is shallow and there are lots of fish.

As above we think that there are better places to stay in...
As above we think that there are better places to stay in Menorca for couples, but Cala Galdana is hard to beat for its reasonably priced accommodation and range of facilities.
As I have coeliac disease and must eat gluten free it was good to have cooking facilities and to find most restaurants had no trouble providing suitable meals.

A nice beach, ideal for families.
A nice beach, ideal for families. The water is usually very calm and it doesn't get deep for a while.
It is especially fun because two of the islands most beautiful beaches are also in walking distance. Even our 5-year-old was able to walk there on his own. Sadly, it seems to be a thing for women to be topless at the beach, especially at those you have to walk to. That was pretty awkward.
Unfortunately, there was a storm one night. The river that runs from inland into the bay, made the whole bay turn into a brown pawn for two days.
The town hasn't very much charm to offer. But it has a selection of restaurants and some stores. Sadly, they allowed the Melia hotel group to build a really big hotel right by the beach. It really isn't nice to look at.
We rented a paddle boat with a slide for an hour. That was great fun for the whole family. We would recommend doing that.

Fabulous place for anyone with or without children. Perfect facilities- clean - plenty of lovely places to eat and drink. Stunning views. Supermarkets if self catering and ideal if you wanted to stay self catering, hotel or villa. Would definitely return
The location is perfect for exploring Cala Galdana. The Villa is spacious and well laid out. The pool is a good size and is clean and great for cooling off. The views across Cala Galdana in the front and back of the Villa are amazing. There are plenty of tables for eating inside the villa and outside. Close proximity to shops and restaurants but the Villa is also located in a quiet peaceful cul-de-sac. Well equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. Nice shower facilities. Cala Galdana is one of the nicest resorts in the Med.
Located at the top of Cala Galdana, this smallish resort had plenty for the kids while also being close enough to walk to the town beach or along to the next Cala along the coast. The 2 bed apartment was fine for 2 adults and 2 children, with nice views of and easy access to the pool. Kids mini disco was a huge hit, and the buffet breakfast was good if quite busy. There is noise into the evening if near the pool / bar area but not an issue for us. Staff were great.
The owner is super friendly and reliable, he helped us with airport transfer and offered using canoos free of charge. The apartment is very clean and perfectly suiitable for long stay, the location is quiet and green and very close to the beautiful cala galdana beach and few more lovely calas e.g. macarella & macarelleta. I would definitely stay at zhe apartment if i come back to Menorca.
Perfect location for beach and village access. Apartment is well laid out and is comfortable. There is a dedicated parking spot. Essential provisions provided. Customer service from Lina was great. Balcony has lovely views. Clean throughout the apartment. Great shower. Cala Galdana has something for everyone. We'll definitely consider returning!!
Location was great, many super markets nearby for breakfast, they do their own bread among many other options. Cala Galdana is great as well, one of the few beaches with parking "nearby" (many others you have to walk/hike 20+ minutes). Many good restaurants for dinner as well. Bed was big and comfy. Parking on the street was easy and free.
The location is so epic, 2 min walk from main cala galdana beach. 20 mins round the road walk to playa mitjana, and if you go the other way just more beautiful seaside walks to other hidden beaches. Pool was a refreshing addition after day at the beach. Host was really responsive and friendly. Beds were very comfy. No complaints
the location is perfect! the property is very close to the Cala Galdana. you need to go down some stairs but just only 5 mins walk with 1 year and 3 year old kids.

Super elevated position overlooking the marina and cove/beach. Quite a climb back up from beach so not great if you have mobility problems. The property has its own parking which is important as Cala Galdana is very popular and parking is difficult during holiday season.
Location was spectacular - relatively short walk to Cala Galdana. On-site parking was a must-have. The pool and outdoor furniture were great. Nice to have a ping pong table with all 4 paddles and extra balls. Rooms (beds, linens, etc) were very comfortable
Spacious villa with all the facilities you need (inc air con) in a quiet neighbourhood in Cala Galdana. A short 5 minute walk through the pine trees, down steps, leads to the beautiful beach and restaurants. Hosts were super helpful and couldn’t do enough.
