The apartment was clean, very well furnished (although we did bash our shins on the bed a few times) and comfortable. Extra though went into providing milk, tea bags, coffees and croissants for breakfast. The bed was comfortable and already made up with spare bedding if required. Plenty of towels for the bathroom. Plenty of hot water for showers or a bath, washing up etc although the dishwasher was also great. A really easy, 5 minute to either the town centre with bars, coffee shops or restaurants and supermarkets AND to the beach. Definitely a lovely, cozy apartment.

Apartamento novo a estrear, amplo, luminoso, con todas as facilidades e comodidades. As instalacións estaban impecables e contaban con todo: sabas, xel de ducha, toallas... Os donos moi amables e solícitos, prestando axuda en todo momento. Ademais viven moi preto e a comunicación con eles foi estupenda.
O apartamento está moi ben ubicado, moi cerca do centro da vila e ao lado da praia. Está nunha rúa tranquila con aparcamento. Gustounos moito. Foi unha estancia curta (de tan só unha tarde e unha noite), pero estivemos como na casa. Repetiremos seguro!

The town of Boiro is pleasant, not too big, not overly 'touristy'. Some people spoke a little English but I'd say it's off the beaten track as far as a UK tourist destination.
The beach was nearly deserted with a reasonable amount of seaweed so I didn't actually swim in the sea.
There's a lovely park to take a walks in.
Siesta times rule so be prepared to eat late. Plenty of supermarkets to stock up on provisions.
About an hours drive to Santiago and many other beautiful destinations.
Overall, I enjoyed being in Boiro.

Our rental was a fully renovated 3 story house by the small port of a fishing village. The house was very charming and tastefully designed with ample beds and quality bedding and towels, fully equipped kitchen, laundry and 3 bathrooms. The only thing missing that my family would have liked to have was wifi.
There were many beaches within easy reach on the Arousa river and the ocean was a 1/2 hour drive west. We tried many of the restaurants recommended by our host and enjoyed fresh seafood and other typical specialties of the region.
Boiro is very easy to navigate as are the other towns along the coast. One charming town near the Atlantic has a maze of small streets and a selection of tapas bars facing the water.
There is nothing I would avoid in this area.
This is a lovely rural hotel run by a lovely host. Although she spoke no english and my Spanish is basic, we were able to understand each other enough. She provided us with a lovely breakfast and then helped to translate a walking guide for a local hike that was written only in the Galician language. The room was very comfortable with a sofa as well as all the usual ameneties. There is onsite parking in the hotel grounds, and the signs to find the hotel from the nearby town were excellently placed.
This apartment was very well equipped. Everyday I discovered details that the host had anticipated that we would need. It was a truly experience of home away from home.
The linen was top quality.
The place was also very clean, tastefully decorated and it was it a perfect location at Boiro.
It was a pleasure staying here!
