Lovely stay unforeseen as we could not get into France as the farmers were blocking the road .Angle in the breakfast room was a delight and very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.A little gem, unlike the Maitre D in the evening dining room, he needs to smile more and not be so uptight.

What a lovely hotel! The response was very quick. Clear directions and easy access. It is located in a small village near Vielha, making it a great location with a lovely view of the mountains. Excellent host and the included breakfast was delicious. Also the best coffee in Spain, by the way. Would highly recommend staying here. The room was clean and tidy and we had a wonderful stay. The bed was also extremely comfortable. Glad we decided to end our trip at Hotelet de Betlan.

The hotel provides a quirky but wonderfully comfortable environment that cannot be matched by modern hotels. Its unique style may not suit everyone but we selected the hotel because of this and were not disappointed. The personal, friendly reception matched our mental image of the architecture. This property looks brand new and is so tastefully decorated. It’s also in a small quaint area on the edge of Vielha. Vielha is over run with a series of large condo complexes between Betren and Vielha’s quaint center area. It also over looks the river which is nice and just behind it are trails.
