Casa Del Maco, hotel in Benissa

This pleasant hotel is set in a restored 18th Century farmhouse, at the foot of the Sierra Bernia Mountains.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and with the great live music it was a very memorable evening. Good choice of food cooked to a high standard. It was a very quiet location but close enough to the motorway

Hotel Restaurant Baladrar, hotel in Benissa

Located in Benissa, 400 metres from Cala Baladrar Beach, Hotel Restaurant Baladrar provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

Lovely owner, okay breakfast not too far from interesting beaches but a car would be recommended. Breakfast was okay, just, but that's probably because the owner was trying to do too much on his own.

We really enjoyed our stay in Benissa.

We really enjoyed our stay in Benissa. The coastal portion is a quiet retreat; it is 3 minute walk from Algi market a very nice supermarket with all essentials, great wine choice and fresh meat counter. Also near by (2-3 min walk via front costal path with some stairs) is Madala beach club which is stunning and very tasty restaurant and Beachclub La Fustera, also a very nice smart casual lunch restaurant. Moraira is 15 minute drive north along coast and Calpe is ten minute drive south along coast. We did not hire a car; it would be useful to have done so and there is a big drive way at the house for free parking. The roads are good quality with good views.

Staying in Fustera was great as we were out of Calpe, so it was quieter. WE could drive into Calpe in ten minutes though. We were walking distance away from restaurants and bars, as well as a supermarket, beach and dive centre.

Benissa and the surrounding area is very hard to beat.

Benissa and the surrounding area is very hard to beat. The beaches, the mountains, the people are fantastic. There are wonderful restaurants for all price ranges, you are spoilt for choice.we liked Calpe to walk the beach,if you are feeling fit then you can climb the rock Penon de ifs head, which we have done, the view is amazing and well worth th effort. They do say that the area is the most healthy on the planet, and we would have to agree.and if you plan your holiday well you can enjoy the festivals which are unbelievable, especially Moraria.

We loved Benissa and the coastal walk from La Fustera beach to Calpe beach. La Fustera beach is well worth the visit and recommended to spend time to relax. Or do some snorkelling and paddle boarding. Also ideal to start the coastal walk to Calpe.

Benissa (Coastal) is a beautiful part of Spain, very pretty coves with some lovely beach side restaurants. Its a quieter than its neighbours Moraira and Calpe, but you have the choice to pop in and out as you want.

The location of the property is in beautiful countryside. The outside space was lovely, especially the swimming pool, terraces and outside kitchen. There was everything you need for a self catering holiday, the kitchen was well equipped and the lounge, dinning area was really nice with great views out to the coast. It was really great staying in the countryside but being a convenient drive to Benissa town, Moraira or the shopping centre at Ondara. Communication with the host was superb.

"Personal touch" - family run hotel that feels more like visiting friends who happen to have a large luxurious house. Perfect for what we needed weekend gateway away from kIds. Peter and Vanessa have a true commitment to quality. I am impressed by the fact that when they need to go away they simply close their place rather then relying on someone who could run it in their absence risking not meeting their standards. It really feels not primarily about money but a labour of love....

Yalcin and Carlijn have created a little slice an paradise in the hills of Benissa. Their hospitality is unmatched and we especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning. All the small interior details they’ve put in, from modern custom ceramics and Meraki bath products, will not go unnoticed. If you’re looking for a place to unplug from your busy life and with an authentic Costa Blanca experience, you’re in the right place. 10/10! We’ll be back.

Stefan & Marieke combine the welcoming and hospitable atmosphere of a small B&B with the facilities (sheets, breakfast and especially the bathroom) of a very good hotel. The accommodation is situated in a calm and quiet area yet only a short 15 minute drive from the beach and sea. For us it was an excellent base of action for hikes in the hills around the region. The excellent breakfast served by Stefan and Marieke deserved special mention.

Everything! the room had completely separate spaces for ourselves and the children - they had their own AC and bathroom which was novel for them. Easy parking. The view was spectacular. Relaxed, unhurried small hotel feeling. Most of all, we loved meeting the owner, Rabi, a passionate historian and all round interesting, educated and nice guy.

Cosy 3-bedrooms villa with private pool and small garden, well-equipped for long stay. Quite simple 'realistic' interiors. Calm neighbourhood, pine trees area nearby (so you can smell that!), long-walking distance to a supermarket, beach area and few cafes. Private parking for 2-3 cars. Good BBQ area with gas grill, outdoors sitting areas.

Peter is a fantastic host. He was super patient with us (even though we ended up turning up very late in the evening) and still took the time to chat to us and explain everything we needed to know about the accommodation. Thank you Peter!
