Ideal location to start any of the surrounding mountain walks from, returning for lunch at any of the cute cafes in the plaza or surrounding side streets.
Juan our host was extremely helpful sharing tons of knowledge about the history of the area, generous with his time and experience, we learned so much and look forward to the next time we can return to Tarbena

Amazingly helpful host. Attention to detail throughout. Magda was the perfect host for breakfast. Extra charge to use the rooftop jacuzzi is a must. 30 mins from all the towns we wanted to visit, denia, altea.

It is small village at the head of a valley.It is very quiet in the winter months though I think it could be busy in the summer especially weekends.
The are three bars in the village that I noticed . I did not go because facilities at the hotel were more than adequate. There is a small shop near the Church
There is a superb restaurant going further up the valley about three or four km at the col you cannot miss it there is no other road

Fabulous hotel at the far side of Benimaurell. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind to us during our stay, but the views would normally be spectacular. Very quiet village a short walk away.
Outstanding food and customer service, would return again for Sunday lunch or another short stay. Very friendly staff, especially the Canadian evening waitress who was so attentive and friendly with a great ability for quality customer service. She was an asset to the hotel. Looks to be some great walks in and around. Bookable dpa massage families. Lovely pool area.

Amazing ! the hotel is far from the madding crowd. The food is supurb, staff so friendly, views breathtaking, although best not have a fear of heights when driving through the valleys, but again really worth driving to some lovely villages, and the walks well..... these need to be attempted at least.
Visit Benidoleig as the food in the Bistro Bar Ballesta is so gorgeous !
Easy to drive to Gandia and catch the train to Valencia, which not to be missed.

Food was excellent but the dining chairs were uncomfortable, plus there was constant awful music, quite loud at times asked to turn it down which they did,.
Our waiter Juan Carlos was excellent very helpful. The en suite bathroom in our room was dingy had no shower curtain or screen so everything got soaked. The views were stupendous but the room was very dated, Wifi very poor - ok in reception though, the hotel and pool could do with updating through out.
Everything was so lovely, the most amazing views. The hotel had everything, we had a suite with a spa bath which had a bay window with views over the mountains and towards Denia. A lot of walks around the grounds, the swimming pool looked nice but it was January so too cold to sample it. We would return in a heartbeat.
Spotlessly clean, fantastic staff and excellent food. Breakfast was delicious with so much variety. Hotel was situated at the top of the hill overlooking the village and mountains. Stunning views, peaceful and tranquil. Fantastic outside pool. Room was spacious with great shower and beautiful views. Definitely return
