It was a simple but comfortable country Inn.The breakfast could have had more choice. It seemed to consist of tea or coffee with a croissant or cake.

Second time we have stayed at El Zamacen and again we were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly & helpful.
The room was a good size looking out over the stream below. Very peaceful, quiet location helped a good nights sleep & breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking space an advantage. Good wi-fi.

The town is tiny, so not much to do there, but there is a great bird-watching lagoon nearby (not a bird-watcher myself, but my mother envied me coming over, so I assume it's a bit of a famous place). Still pretty nice to visit the bird watching stops to enjoy some of the tranquillity of nature. I stayed for just one night on my way to Madrid, but if I needed to a place to just cool down for a bit, it would be a nice place to stay for a few more nights.
A really well made hotel converted from an old grain silo. Surprisingly elegant for a town that seems like the middle of nowhere. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly, the food in the restaurant was tasty.
The hotel is small and basic but had all facilities needed, a restaurant and a bar. The bed was a little small but comfortble. It was the perfect place for an overnight stop on a long journey. Recommend it
