Closeby there are centers of interest like beaches, Cabo de Rocas and Luanco.
Located in the centre of town, this family-friendly hotel has both rooms and charming wooden cabins which are minutes from the beach and set in pretty gardens with access to a restaurant.

Good situation, surrounded by countryside.Comfortable beds, quality towels.Very good breakfast served by lovely staff.Charmingly furnished, friendly atmosphere, would definitely rebook a stay.Near a fishing village with several restaurants serving local produce.Great views from the grounds.They have a restaurant.There are wooden bungalows in the grounds, good for families with kids.There was a big party going on whilst we were there, but it did not interfere with our enjoyment,

A pleasant little hotel, situated just metres from the port of this small, coastal town.
Park outside to drop off your luggage and a free public car park in the port area, made life very easy.
Critical for us, the wifi was fast and reliable.
The water pressure, from the shower, proved a shock to the system - Niagara falls sprung to mind!
The room was spotless, the staff extremely friendly and helpful speaking perfect English if you’re nervous about small hotels off the beaten track.
Possibly the only criticism would be the limited breakfast options.
If money is tight and you have a good appetite, I'd recommend booking room only and having breakfast at any one of the several cafes on the doorstep.
Whilst the hotel doesn't have a restaurant there are plenty within walking distance.
I have to add though that the hotel's freshly squeezed orange juice was extra, extra special.
If we return to Candas this will be our first choice for accommodation.

Lovely location and friendly staff. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. The staff where so help at all times. We felt very welcomed and appreciated. They even spoilt us with some cakes on our departure. A lovely surprise

The old girl does need some love and maintenance, but besides that my room was very spacious (I was in a supreme/deluxe double bed something) and had everything you need.
Desk, safe, TV, fridge, hairdryer, two small balconies, with an amazing view of the harbour and they Atlantic.
