The picturesque, traditional Mallorcan house with a most spectacular view in a charming little village. There were 129 steps to climb, but every step was worth it.
Featuring quiet street views, Sa caseta des port provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 200 metres from Cala Gata Beach.

House with all the amenities we expected. Very pleasant and comfortable. Two minutes's walk from the sea. Very quiet small village (late April). Very helpful hosts who texted us useful information before we arrived. Best to turn up in a small car due to the narrow winding road leading to the village.
Guests can admire beautiful sea views from the rooms and outdoor solarium at Hostal Sa Baronia. The guest house features a quiet outdoor swimming pool, with a special area for children.

Breakfast was very nice, with loads of everything delicious !
We used the pool a lot, which has beautiful view over the sea afar and is very quiet.
The staff was super friendly and very helpful with advice for activities or things to do, buses etc.... Unfortunately, we had no time to use the spa, too much to do outside 😄
The family-run Petit Hotel is set in a traditional stone house in Valldemossa and features a large sun terrace. It offers colourful rooms with wooden furnishings and satellite TV.

Accommodations were clean & adequate for our needs (we don't visit places to stay in rooms). We wanted a nice place to stay while we went exploring the Island via rental car. In evenings, we ate mostly at local restaurants and we did not have a bad meal; in fact, most were quite good in terms of nutrition and portion size, and reasonably priced. And the food was always fresh. The biggest issue for us was parking & driving; the rental agency gave us a big Jeep and it was a pain to drive on some of the small (tiny, narrow, curvy) roads we drove on when exploring other parts of the Island

We stayed 3 days in this absolute gem of a place.
We stayed 3 days in this absolute gem of a place. We counted at least 7 eating options and a variety of shops. It's a very historic village which clings to the hillside with cultivation terraces all the way down to the coast. A rewarding stay after the narrow and winding road to get there.

Banyalbufar is a small mountainside village of about 500 residents which is swollen by holday home owners and tourists in summer. Not recommended for people with mobility issues! Steps and steep inclines all over.
Restaurants that we used were good and there is a convenience store and a pharmacy. They all close a least one day a week. There is a beach but its a long way down from the main drag and its stony. If you enjoy dramatic views and sipping drinks on terraces whilst watching the sunset, it's fabulous!

Banyalbufar was lovely, peaceful and unspoilt when we visited in early July. The quality and selection of restaurants all within easy walking distance of the hotel was a really nice surprise. We took our 6 year old to the beach and thought it was fine for kids her age if they don't mind the steep walk home but you'd want to take a sunshade and maybe rock shoes as it can be slippery and hot on the rocks.

Superb sea and mountain views.
Superb sea and mountain views. Excellent hill walking options. (Try the Cami des Correu marked walk to Esporles). Several good restaurants, try Sa Tomas for great sea food and paellas.
Banyalbufar is really a large village set on hillside terraces first established by the Moors; so steep hills and narrow streets.

This hotel is a gem! Beautifully located in the quaint town of Banyalbufar, close to many hiking trails and restaurants. The town has everything you need but feels quiet and "local". The hotel had a beautiful breakfast and the room was really well equipped with a comfy bed, big bathroom, and even a kitchenette. We loved chilling in the back yard, or out front looking out at the water. The public bus comes right out front and can go to neighbouring towns and even into Palma.
Wonderful staff, excellent communication for a late arrival. Beautiful hotel situated in a lovely village. Most spectacular view from the terrace over the coast. Lots of fantastic local restaurants, walks, beaches. The staff were always available and very accomodating. Bountiful breakfast. The hotel is spotless and old mallorcan style
I thought the breakfast was very good. Lovely fresh food and good coffee.
I liked the dinners that I had at the hotel. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Lovely view of the sea from the bedroom balcony.
Room was spacious and peaceful.
Beautiful room on two levels - top floor with a breathtaking view from the bed. The breakfast is really good with home cooked cakes and pies. The village is quiet and lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.
