Hostal Oasis is a typical highway cafe with rooms. It is on the road, outside Fraga to the east. Plenty of parking on site, a standard room with en-suite, and a large bar-restaurant, which was nice and warm on a chilly 1st May evening. Outside was a terrace with tables and chairs (and some brave roses shaking in the breeze). In the morning the bar has reasonably-priced selections of breakfast options - the omelettes and tomato bread made a nice change from coffee and magdelanas

Reception. Is by key code sent by WhatsApp. Entrance door is straight onto a pretty narrow village street. Inside there is a nice large reception desk; but, no one at it. Downstairs is cool and dark and clean. There is a kitchen diner and a walled garden. All very clean. Plenty of everything. Fridge with bottles of water in. Note that expensive Hotel Castillo in Alquézar! Tea and coffee making facilities; and black tea. Bedroom is big with two single beds. Clean and white and crisp linen. Bedside cupboards with lamps. Wonderfully a plug socket with TWO USB sockets! Tele, chest of drawers, wardrobe. All very clean. Shower room is a good size. Clean and bright. Shower cubicle is a good size with a weird multi jet plastic shower thingy! Two shower heads and plenty of hot water White, slightly crispy towels and shower gel. Hairdryer, mirror etc. Outside the front the street. Outside the back the garden. Outside my room a balcony. District is pleasant enough. A restaurant 50 yards away. Was noisy when at the bar, but, everyone drifted away before eleven. The host, Joaquin, I think was very pleasant when I met him. Helpful and friendly. Good value.

Big and clean and comfortable. Room was pleasant and clean with shared balcony. Kitchen, lounge, garden. Pleasant reception (finally) by the helpful Juan. Dinner was in the bar in the local community centre. It was good. Shared bathrooms were bright and clean; but, shared.
