Nice historical city, nice view point from the castle, but nothing more to see there, unfortunately the shops were closed btw 11-17o'clock, some restaurants were open to have a beverage. For short visit it is sufficient.

A beautiful town, with great hikes available in the area. There are also several beaches, although they require some hiking to get to, but are absolutely stunning. This is a lovely destination for out-of-season travel! We were here in March and it was perfect. We were warned that it becomes very very busy in summer.

Medieval village, well looked after, quiet, espectacular views from the castle, nice houses and stroll.
It depends of what you're looking for. I have heard is very busy during high season so, too small for a crowd. A car is needed to get there and to move around the area. However, parking facilities are scarce.

Going to the beaches and walking from beach to beach was very enjoyable.
We used the summer bus to get to and from the beaches, only one Euro, but the last day of the bus was 17th September so after that we took a taxi, 19 euro each way.
It wasn't easy to find a table to eat in Begur when we Spoke English, luckily my partners French is very good, we appeared to get better service when he talked French.

Beautiful old town with a huge variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Easy to get to the beach by bus. It's not great for cars as very narrow streets and I'm not sure about parking. Would definitely recommend as a holiday destination. This area of Spain seems to have escaped high rise buildings - it has a Majorcan feel about it. Definitely worth a trip!
I liked absolutely everything! The hotel is located on the Mediterranean coast, about 2 hours north of Barcelona. The landscape is breathtaking! The buildings and facilities are very well adapted to the environment and most rooms have a marvelous view. The staff is extremely friendly and service-oriented. We were always greeted with a smile and even our special request were carried out immediately. There is even a miniature private beach to be used by hotel guests! And the food is very well-prepared and quite varied.
Anca and Manel were fantastic hosts! Extremely friendly and helpful. There was a lovely laid back, peaceful atmosphere in the hotel. The hotel and rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable and had everything you needed. Nice pool and kept very clean. The breakfast was delicious and and had a wide variety. The eggs were so good. The location is perfect. 2 min walk into the main square (by the church) of Begur. Highly recommend this hotel and DEFINITELY deserves more than 2 stars.
Just about Everything made it special. Even having to park in the public parking lot, and making your way up the narrow roads to the hotel. Loved staying in a super old place with lots of history. The former castle/fort was up above, and worth the walk.
Driving to other local sites was very good. Beaches, Pals, Peradallata, and more.
Wonderful quiet hotel with a beautiful garden and in a top location between Begur (bustling little town with a range of very good restaurants) and sa Riera (a nice, family-friendly beach), which also offers a few restaurants, among them the very recomendable Ses Negres, which is located directly at the beach.
Hotel Cluc was fantastic! It’s a quiet street & hotel but a very short walk to great restaurants & the is within the old town of Begur. Victor was so welcoming and hosted a delicious breakfast including various home made goods. Was also very helpful with any questions & kind to provide many recommendations.
Loved the location 1 minute walk to beach and cliff walk along the Mediterranean one of the best ports of my trip to Spain. The staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of Iberian ham breads and pastries were fresh Yum. Facility was laid back and so friendly felt like visiting family.
The hotel was quirky, friendly welcoming and homely. Our room was very comfortable with a fabulous terrace and great views. Excellent fresh breakfast. We loved the relaxation areas with books and music to choose from. The location is superb for exploring Begur and there was plenty of parking available.
Lovely modern apartment with pool in Begur. Was perfect for our family with 2 kids. Close to the best beaches in the area and in a nice gated complex. Very easy check in in Begur town at a as hotel then you drive 5 minutes to the apartment- they sent super clear instruction so check in was a breeze.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Everything from the staff to the room to the views - just incredible. The restaurant served delicious food at *very* reasonable prices too. Short drive to multiple beaches and hikes. We'll be back, no doubt. Next time, for an even longer stay!
Everything about this hotel was amazing. You cannot beat the view, and on top of that the room was in great condition and the staff were super friendly. The breakfast provided was great and it was nice to be able to order room service from the restaurant on the property.
The location was amazing, room very nice, breakfast excellent. This is the second Parador we stayed in during our time in Spain and in both hotels there was no bottled water in the room - no kettle or coffee machine which we are used to finding in 4 star accommodation.
Beautifully designed and decorated boutique hotel in the gorgeous seaside village of Begur.
Staff were wonderful and clearly enjoyed helping guests make the most of their stay. Highly recommend this hotel.
The location is fantastic. A short drive from Begur. Close to the beach and a magnificent view from every side of the hotel. The SPA has a great view too even from the Sauna.
The hotel is in a great location in Begur .
