The location was idyllic for relaxation. Sitting in the evening watching the sunset over the Pyrenees was special. The food in the restaurant was excellent (maybe should be changed if you are staying longer). The staff are very accommodating and friendly.

Joana has a home that has been constructed and renovated beautifully. While the furnishings were sparse in the room, the space was very comfortable. She also served a very nice breakfast that included a number of local cheese and meat items. And we enjoyed speaking with Joana, who was very helpful.

The hotel is very modern and has all the facilities you could need. The room was lovely, with and very nice bathroom and a walkin shower. The air con was cool and very quiet during the night.
With out doubt the best part was breakfast, so much choice.
The staff also deserve a special mention as they were all helpful and spoke many languages.

The Hotel far exceeded our expectations. The Hotel generally is superb, yet small ( boutique ), and attention to details extremely well thought through. Rooms were spacious and thought had been put into the design and furnishings. The staff were informative and engaging and the food was excellent. We will definitely stay at la Fornal again !!!
Absolutely loved it. Respect to the architect who transformed this masia into this beautiful hotel it is. A lot of heart and brains have been put into this transformation. In my opinion reality exceeds the already nice photos you see.
Staff was very friendly and helpful and really authentic. Breakfast was good and dinner menu is reasonably priced and what you would expect.
The private spa with sauna is small but very enjoyable.

Cozy and comfortable apartment with all the facilities you need for your everyday necessities. The location, Avinyonet de Puigventós is a fairy tale town and very convenient for short trips to visit all the attractions in L’Alt Empordá and La Garrotxa region.
Location is unique, a farmhouse a few km from Figueres. There are only few rooms, so it is more of a guesthouse rather than hotel. The owner was really welcoming. Breakfast was nice and local.
