It was overall a good experience
Fantastic one night stay to break up a long drive. Close to freeway. Our 2 bedroom room was huge and kids loved the spa bath. This hotel had everything we needed - bar/restaurant on site which was open for drinks when we arrived at 4pm. Dinner in the lovely courtyard was open from 8.30pm and we had a great meal. For breaky you could have the continental buffet (12euros pp) but we opted to eat at the cafe/bar where we enjoyed a tomato toast with jamon and a coffee for 5 euro. I would recommend this hotel!
Lovely quaint hotel. Check in was very easy quick and friendly. Room was a decent size with a double bed and single bed. Coffee maker in the room and complimentary bottles of water. The restaurant had a good choice of food and wine all at a reasonable price. The service was excellent and the food was good.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the hotel and we enjoyed the location. In addition, the receptionist that we’re on duty in the evening when we arrived and in the morning before we left we’re outstanding. They both went out of their way to be extremely kind and helpful.
the staff were excellent, the hotel has been tastefully decorated and has charm! great stop for overnight stay between Portugal and the Santander Ferry! Not expensive and close to the main road, lovely gardens !! clean and lovely !! We will be back
Easy to find and also to park, ideally placed for coming from or going to the ferry. We had an enjoyable meal in the restaurant, and the bar had a lovely Christmassy feel about it.
