My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Hostal Aljibe. Frank (the owner) was so friendly and helpful. Our room was great and the place itself had a very stylish and relaxing vibe. It was so lovely I chose to propose to my girlfriend on the balcony of our room. The breakfast was also great!

We've been to Spain twice before but always to the resort of Costa Brava so venturing outside our comfort zone was a risk which paid off by visiting Archidona. With it's stunning views and very helpful and friendly residents we could not have asked for a more welcoming place.

We had a perfect experience. the hotel is so cozy and inviting. It felt that the owners have though about every detail-from the special design to the tasty breakfast and the warm attitude. We regretted that we only stayed for one night and had to move on to the rest of our trip. Frank the host is an amazing host, caring and takes care of everything. One of the best hotels we visited. We had a wonderful room which was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The common areas of the hotel were like a home, comfortable warm and cozy. The best part of our stay were our hosts Ken and Jo. They were incredibly helpful with dinner reservations, places to go, and things to do.
Breakfast was wonderful and the paella dinner was incredible. The only problem was we didn’t book more days in our day. Thank you.
Jo and Ken are the most amazing hosts anyone could wish for, they made our stay at their hotel perfect.The hotel is beautifully designed, it's very private and perfect for trips to El Torcal, Camanito del Rey etc. Archidona is a little sweet, not touristic town. The hotel has everything: a very nice pool and relax area, Jo's cooking is amazing, the rooms are just perfect.
An easy stop-off from our route on the highway. A simple but nicely furnished room with an excellent heating system. Very helpful receptionist/bartender. There was a little bar area where we could purchase a drink and a plate of cheese at the end of a long day of driving. The hotel was full of hunters while we were there but all was quiet in our room.
The hotel is located about 10 kilometres from Archidona, in complete solitude. The location is very beautiful and quiet, the house is in very good condition, surrounded by gardens. The price is absolutely fair, the service is informal and the food in the hotel is very good. Absolutely recommendable.
Outstanding little boutique hotel that ouzes style and class. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Even went out of their way to provide a gluten free option for breakfast. If you're in the Archidona area, you must stay here. Can't recommend it highly enough.
