I liked the informal layout of the exterior of the property and the facilities provided i.e. bbq swimming pool, tables and umbrellas and although I did not use them the washing machines and dryer.

The area is lovely, clean and very well presented. We were there for the night of San Juan fiesta and noticed that there was no rubbish anywhere, hundreds of people enjoying themselves. The rubbish bins were full but people still placed their rubbish at the bin area. We went to the port and found a delightful restaurant called 'Marios' it was a lovely experience, friendly staff and tasty food. There are lots of bars to choose from.

The port is the main place to be, where restaurants and shops are. There is a big hotel with Golf and SPA nearby and the Mercadona super market (closed on Sundays).
For those who like the beach, sub and surf that's your spot.
It's a really cozy and welcoming corner of Andalusia, with a village vibe and the necessary amenities that anyone can ask for while on vacation.

Its a great location around the port, the beach is a short walk, all the restaurants are good round port with free tapas cooked to very high standard and presentation. There is golf nearby and supermarkets . Its very clean and the beaches are long and natural. You can also park near to the sand.

Almerimar Marina is very nice to walk around and there are a few very good restaurants for fish, paella and seafood etc. Most of the restaurants in the area are just very good value but quite basic food....essentially you have a choice. Lovely beaches and long promenades and a large lake make for some nice scenery. A good place for a relaxing holiday.
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Our room was specious with lovely views overlooking the golf course and sierras in the distance. Lovely comfortable beds and tastefully decorated. Spacious modern bathroom with a great walk in shower and plenty of wardrobe space. Very large television.

The staff on reception, in the dining room and the ladies cleaning our room were friendly and polite and the hotel was spotlessly clean.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Almerimar. The flat was very clean and comfortable with excellent facilities. Neringa and Kristina were very friendly and extremely helpful. The location was ideal close to the beach, the port and restaurants. We’d love to come back!
