This apartment was a revelation ! So very Welcoming and comfortable. The front door is very nicely decorated and fits in with the surrounding rustic environment. The decor inside is very nice and stylishly rustic but modern with a lovely colour scheme. It's a huge room with a comfortable , large sofa. Opposite is a high table which serves as a bfast table and worktop. The furniture includes very large comfortable bed, 2 versatile bedside tables, a bench which serves very well to stand your luggage and a simple but very convenient frame for clothes etc. The bathroom is very nice too with a very good shower and all amenities. The kitchen too is very well equipped with all necessities , including a washing machine which we found very convenient. May I suggest a small portable Clothes horse. The owner was kind enough to let me borrow an iron. This place was so sweet and pleasant and had all the amenities one would need. The owner was very nice to us though we did not meet in person. Parking is just outside the door and the place is just a few minutes of beautiful drive, out of Allariz. If you're around, this is an excellent place to stay and proves to be a great experience. beautiful old part of the town with lovely houses, churches, a roman bridge, ruins at the top of a hill that you can easily climb and have a great view of the city and surroundings hills and fields. Beautiful river with large green areas and side walking. Fantastic restaurants at moderate prices. Very friendly people.

Having been there a lot around 4 years ago as we lived not far from there, we found the old part of the town a bit depressing, a lot of the shops seem to be closing down, houses shut up.The outskirts look very nice. The hotel is in a very nice location. we had lunch in O Pepino it was very good and the service was very prompt and efficient all at a good price.

Very helpful gentleman in tourist information office marked...
Very helpful gentleman in tourist information office marked up a map for us with suggestions for seeing the town, and gave us some written details in English. Town has a Roman bridge and riverside walks, with quaint old streets leading up to a wide square in front of a monastery. The museum there includes a small ivory Madonna which opens up to reveal tiny carved biblical scenes.
Monica made us feel very welcome in Torre Lombarda and gave us some excellent advice on where to visit. The building is an old leather tannery with fascinating history that Monica was only too pleased to share with us. We felt completely at home and we are planning to return in September to use the hotel as our base to explore further afield. If you want to immerse yourself in a beautiful old historic building in this stunning part of Spain, I can;t think of a better place!
Lovely little apartment in Allariz. There was coffee and a coffee maker so we didn't need to go outside for our first coffee. The details like this are great :-) Friendly and helpful hosts, easy to communicate with. Lovely views from the apartment.

Temporary parking for luggage drop is possible at the front door of hotel.
Nice restaurant is also very close. Good breakfast.
