The house is perfect for a family holiday and the owner is very sweet and helpful. We enjoyed being there, and our children loved the pool. I highly recommed the property.

This place is a true gem! My stay here was incredibly pleasant, mainly thanks to the wonderful owners who take care of every detail to ensure guests feel comfortable, while also providing plenty of privacy. The entire property is very well-maintained and spotless, and it's clear that it has recently been renovated. The breakfasts are exceptional – made with fresh ingredients, very tasty, and prepared with great care. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. While a car is necessary, it's an excellent base for exploring the main attractions in the broader area. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Marcelinos Villa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a beautiful holiday. The rooms are nice and newly renovated, the bathroom is big with a good shower and the kitchen is well equipped, has everything you need. The pool and garden is very beautiful and there are many cosy places to eat, drink, chill and relax, even on the roof with a beautiful view. We could play basketball on the backside of the house.
Marcelino is a very friendly and good host who answered our questions quickly and helped us with everything we needed.
A car is recommended to go shopping.
We definitely want to stay at Marcelinos place again!

Alhaurine el Grande is a nice Spanish village for those who don't want to crowd with the tourists by the sea. Perfect for golfers, several nice courses around the village and in the neighboring area. Nice restaurant street in the village with many different kinds of food and friendly staff. Speaks Spanish and English. Alhaurine el Grande is well worth a visit.

Location was good for us.
Location was good for us. On arrival it was very windy and upon enquiring about wifi the receptionist said that wifi was poor on windy days! Never heard of wind blowing away WiFi signals. Anyhow, there was no wifi available in the room and don’t think the receptionist was being honest.

The town was good and the restaurant in the town was good thank goodness otherwise there was nothing to offer at all at the hotel. There should at least be a kettle to make to or coffee and breakfast as promised.

Having a disability one of the reason I go to this hotel is the swimming pool I checked in advance like normal that it would be open after checking in and changing to use the pool I was shocked how dirty and green it was. when I complained they informed me it was closed

Very nice city in the hills above Malaga.
Very nice city in the hills above Malaga. There are more restaurants per sq meter than the average village I have seen in Spain, and the majority of them provide fresh fish and excellent local specialties.
Places we went regularly: Casa Paco, La Alegria, Heladeria Solano

Even though, the cutlery, plates, cups, kitchen cabinets (inside and out), microwave, oven and shower were dirty we appreciated them being included. We had our little food shelf in the fridge as well.
We liked the location and the overall interior of inside the house. It's got some of the best views and nicest little shops, restaurants and bars around it.
Everything was superb. Comfortable beds; immaculately clean; modern shower room; lovely views from the roof terrace; quiet location but close to shops and restaurants.
Juan our host was very attentive, caring and trustworthy. Would stay there again.
The accommodation, the view, the environment, the hosts were fantastic. The breakfast is especially delicious and plentiful in this wonderful place.
