The stay in at NH of Alcorcón, was very comfortable and pleasant at a fair rate price. Mostly for business travel, but with a location nearby to a great shopping center areas, and close to entertainment places.
Despite been a little outside from city center, it's a good alternative for a quality rate between price and service.

No wardrobe or even a drawer in room so all clothes, underwear and other personal items left out on display.
Breakfast could.be better. Some chorizo and jamón, olives, eggs, some sliced up fruit such as melons, and flavoured yogurts would be welcome additions. Vary the pastries from one day to the next.
The hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood, near the metro station Puerta del Sur (to the center of Madrid approx. 30 minutes). There was also a grocery store across the street. Reception is available 24/7, friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, beds were huge and comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent (especially hot cocoa), corresponding to the price. Personally, I would also welcome a choice of vegetables. I would definitely come back on my next trip!
Walking distance to the metro (Puerta del Sur). An Aldi supermarket right across the street. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable and large. Free coffee/tea/hot water at the reception. The area was pretty quiet and the price was acceptable (Madrid is very expensive). There is some parking in front of the hotel. Ask for a room at the top floor.
Wonderful staff always ready to help. Terrific location for food and shopping and getting a PCR test done at nearby hospital within walking distance. No need for a car unless you want to travel further afield. Approximately 30 mins to the airport in Madrid. We didn’t speak Spanish but the hotel staff were more than confident in their English.
Excellent breakfast. Even more excellent staff: worked with us to change booking made online; Shout out to the breakfast staff who kept things stocked, were friendly in busy time, very hard working. Accommodating to let us store luggage after we checked out - appreciated that very much. Well done, Holiday Inn Express, Alcorcon.

The location is a bit far from the center but the hotel is literally 2 min away from the nearest subway station, and the neighborhood is super quiet.
The breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly including the cleaning ladies. The location is excellent, bus stop is just beside the hotel, train station going to downtown Madrid is walking distance from the hotel and very close to shopping malls. We loved the free parking
The hotel is in a very industrial area, so there are not many things to do around there, and it is not easily accessible with public transportation. However, we went there because we had an event in one of the campuses nearby, so it was relatively convenient.
The location is great. But for the light sleepers, i suggest you inform the hotel straight away since it was a bit noisy from the main road a few meters away. All the staff we met were so nice, friendly and helpful. Very cleaed too.
Second stay in the hotel that year, always the same good standards and practices. The personnel is lovely, proprety is good and the beds are so confortable. The hotel is offering a coffee and water available 24h at the reception.
