We recently stayed at this charming boutique B&B and were thoroughly impressed. The decor was extremely stylish, and the furnishings were both practical and elegant. The ample space in the garden and by the pool, complete with various incredibly comfortable seating options, provided the perfect setting for relaxation.
The breakfast was delicious and varied, including home made jam. Dinner was equally impressive, with sophisticated and exquisite dishes, accompanied by the nice company of the hosts. One of the highlights of our stay was the professional-grade coffee machine, available for use throughout the day – a feature we greatly appreciated.
Adriana & Jan were exceptionally kind and always ready to offer tips for local activities, making our stay even more enjoyable. We can only congratulate them on such a well-executed B&B experience and highly recommend it to everyone!

Very quiet, super clean, very comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent, they were able to cater to our vegan needs. Alfonso and his staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The area is so beautiful and the house is in a really privileged location, wow, what a view! I wish we could have stayed longer. I will denifinately book another trip for a longer time so that we can enjoy the pool and bbq area more and explore the area.

The village was great.
The village was great. The villa was in need of total overhaul. The pool was dirty. Men were working in the villa for a couple of hours. The owner did not seek our permission and did not apologise. Children were playing in the gardens we had exclusive use of the grounds but wete being used by others. I would not recommend the villa.

I would rate this town for the traveller who prefers to get away from other tourists. There was a lovely feel to the cafe which was opposite our apartment with the locals gathering for coffee in the morning and celebrations in the evening. The staff at the property spoke English but no one else does. There were a couple of shops where we bought fresh bread and wonderful fruit and veg. The town is about 20mins drive inland from the coastal motorway and although we had to do this extra milage a lot we felt it was worth it. Food and drink seemed at lot less money than in tourist areas. The only disappointment was that the town swimming pool was not open.

We ate at the hotel every night as there didn't appear to be hardly any close options. A car is a must as it is very hilly as you might expect.
Unless you've been before Sat Nav is essential, aside of that getting around to other villages and Lake Vinuela is quite easy

Beautiful village in the mountains, typically spanish.
Beautiful village in the mountains, typically spanish. A small number of restaurants and bars, couple of small supermarkets. Enrique's cafe bar restaurant , in the centre, great place very friendly, breakfast, tapas lunch and other meals.
Meson El Cierva, lovely place to eat & drink, spit roast meats, bar b q, and full menu, breakfasts too, very friendly staff.
The streets are very narrow and lots of hills.
The national park is close by and a bit hairy in places but well worth the views.
The village pool is a must, open to public from 1pm and only 1.50 euros entrance. Good olympic size pool, with a small kiddies pool too. Plenty of sunbeds and shade available, also snacks and refreshments.
The water fountains....sitting outside at Enrique's watching the locals bringing their empty containers to fill with the water.
Traditional Spanish hotel in a superb location overlooking the Andalusian mountains you feel very much part of the town of Alcaucin. Alfonso is the perfect host and gave us a free upgrade to a 2 bed apartment with great views. All very clean and the beds very comfy. Breakfast served by Alfonso is great value for money served on the Balcony with wonderful views sets you up for the day. A great place as a base within easy striking distance to the coast. We will certainly stay again.
This is without doubt the most beautiful place we have ever stayed.
From the location to the beautiful rooms, beautiful gardens and the wonderfully kind and attentive without being intrusive three sisters who own and run the hotel, it is all just perfect.
There are occasions when, by chance you are lucky enough to find such a special place and this is one.
We didn’t want to leave and we hope to return.
Thankyou for your kindness and for making our stay so relaxed.
All the space inside and out is excellent and very well maintained. The pool and BBQ area make it a great space to relax and is a real sun trap. Inside the space is open plan with large living-dining and 4 bedrooms, all with their own aircon.
Host (Alfonso) met us at the hotel in town and came with us to show where everything was. The pool was cleaned daily and messages to Alfonso were answered very promptly.
Great property, highly recommended.
A wonderful welcome at this charming rustic hotel with delightful garden run by three sisters who do everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable without being intrusive. Marvellous breakfast and lovely view from patio in comfortable room. Would definitely stay again. The evening meals are hearty, not fine dining.
We’ve stayed at this hotel several times now and have absolutely no complaints. A quiet tranquil location with beautiful views and amazing sunsets. Right in the centre of the village and amenities. The owners and staff are very welcoming and helpful, we are already looking forward to returning as soon as we can.
Really loved the location of the property at the centre of the small town of Alcaucin where you experience the real Spain. The apartment was spacious with a lovely terrace with a great view. It was very hot but A/C was sufficient to cool the property. My two grand daughters loved the pool.
Booked last minute for one night. Hotel was lovely. Staff very pleasant with great customer service, had a break which was great value for money. Rooms kept to a standard , very clean
Master bedroom clean and found the bed very comfortable
Everything. The hotel is much better than it looks in the photos. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and all the facilities are comfortable and tastefully decorated and the food is also nice.
Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and a hotel full of character. Even tough we made a mistake in our booking the owner was very forthcoming in helping us.
