Simply stunning. Very friendly hosts, such a peaceful and quiet location.
I sat in the courtyard this morning eating my breakfast to the sound of complete silence... literally nothing, no sound at all... sensational. Great way to start your day.
As an Englishman, I wanted to stay away from the typical tourist areas and experience authentic, genuine true Spanish hospitality. If you are in the area, a must stop over. Recommended +++

A nice welcome from the Lovely friendly helpful people who work there. Communication before we arrived was perfect. The room was usual Parador old fashioned standard. Clean and beds very comfortable for us. We had a little balcony too which was a bonus. Seating area round the bar is lovely and traditional. Didn’t eat there as wanted to explore Mérida and eat tapas on the way. Parking an advantage but expensive at 22 euros per night. Haven’t paid for parking at other Paradores? Many thanks for a pleasant stay.
Located a few minutes' walk from the historic city centre of Merida, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hotel Zeus is a modern complex with a seasonal outdoor pool.

Good value for money , buffet breakfast was very good better than more expensive hotels
The roman bath circuit was amazing. It includes a long soak in the natural spring waters (heated thank goodness), inhalations of the waters, cold/hot showers depending on your needs and a great massage to finish. Extreme relaxation ensues! Thoroughly recommendable. You can walk around in the bathrobe that's in your room, or they give you one in the changing rooms of the spa.
The outdoor pool is surrounded by beautiful, lush gardens - the water in the pool is very cold!
You have to wear a bathing hat in all the pools - they give you one if you haven't brought one.
The hotel is really nice and clean. Beautiful and stylish hotel, you can feel the luxurious feeling.
The meals were really good and with variety. The breakfast buffet was really nice and completed.
The rooms were impressive, plenty of space, nice bathrooms, extraordinary shower.
The beds were really comfy , helping to relax.
All the staff was friendly, professional and helpful.
A stunningly beautiful hotel with friendly staff, food was ok. The waitress Luisa, was fantastic, spoke a little English and was lovely, the bar staff too were excellent
We love everything about this hotel, the staff are all so friendly, it's in a great position and the food is delicious, authentic Spanish and healthy cuisine 👏🤗👏
