Perfect little town with a lovely Gastrobar just around the corner..
Beautiful town square make sure to find it & visit.
Beautiful town square make sure to find it & visit. There were 2 ways to walk into the town from the hotel. One is via the main road, the other way is through a lovely tree lined walkway (no vehicles).

We like 'Campoo, for us it is a stop-over, there are wonderful driving roads, there is a fab square 5 mins from hotel, with bars galore. It is a working town, with some Roman leftovers. We do need to explore it more. The hotel do a good Menu del dia (meal of the day) for €15, 3 courses.

Good value, clean and comfortable.
Good value, clean and comfortable. Secure parking for motorcycles behind a locked gate though it costs extra and could be full. Simple breakfast choice but adequate. No restaurant but 5 minutes from the town square and bars and restaurants. Rooms clean and comfortable. Shower is good but the ceiling rose can spray outside the cubicle. Recommended

We loved the modern decor and the rooms were immaculately clean and the bed was big and comfy. However, Room 111 is at the back of the hotel near the air con units which were noisy and disturbed our sleep.

The hotel was new and very clean, the bedrooms were huge and the bathroom was well designed and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was included and it was good and well presented. All the staff were very helpful and even though they spoke some English they let us carry on in our poor Spanish. The location to the town is very good and we were using it as an overnight stop on the way to santander, great choice only 1hr 30 mins to travel on the day of sailing so no stress.
A lovely character old building which has been modernised very tastefully.
Despite being cold the room had very efficient central heating so we were lovely and warm.
We were travelling with our dog and she was made very welcome
The restaurant food was very good traditional cuisine.
The hotel staff were very sympathetic to my husband’s coeliac requirements both for dinner and breakfast - Thankyou
The hotel is joined to the monastery which is beautiful with lovely gardens to relax in.
Restaurant was very good and good value.
We stayed in the Annex to the hotel , which was basic , but clean. No air conditioning and a bit uncomfortable in the recent high temperatures .Fans would have helped.
