We needed a clean, comfortable space close to the airport for our 4:00am departure. This was perfect - excellent staff, very comfortable and 10 min from airport.

Las Hortensias is a delightful place to stay in Tababela.
Las Hortensias is a delightful place to stay in Tababela.
There is a small fast food cum basic restaurant just 50 metres down the road.
Also by the footbridge are two well run and more sophisticated restaurants.
One is very rustic, with a wide menu and serves grilled meats like local lamb , sausages and beef which are very tasty.
Views of the surrounding hills are very good and the weather mild and pleasant in early February.

I had checked intobtje upgrade with booking and could not seem to cancel it, phoned the hotel and explained my problem for no results. Could have been because of the language barrier. I liked the hotel but it is too much money for whst it offers.
This hotel has a very convenient location a couple miles from Quito airport. I arrived late at night for a 1-day layover, and had an early flight out the next day so it was a good choice given our flight timing because the city of Quito is pretty far and a 45-minute+ drive from the airport. It was pretty easy to get ubers to and from the city for a tour during the day. The breakfast is simple but fresh and tasty and served on a nice rooftop terrace. The room was simple but a good value for the price.
The location is close to the airport. the price is affordable when you have a reservation. Without reservation as in emergency, they hit you with exorbitant price. There's one decent eatery/restaurant nearby. The entrance to the hotel from the airport road is rugged; it seems to be not approved by the gov't. The room is very small and noisy. one can hear the sound of the toilet flushed from the other room. Taxi service is unreliable and takes a long time to arrive for pick up.
This is among the cleanest of hotels in which we have stayed, but the best attribute is the outstanding staff. The team at the Quito Airport Holiday Inn are capable, helpful and extremely friendly people who enriched our experience during our brief stay. The room service was also excellent and the meal was delicious. We fly through Quito often and we will definitively be staying here again in the near future.
free airport shuttle every 30min; steam room and pool!
spacious room with very comfortable beds and clean bathroom!
the staff outside front desk was always very kind and willing to help!
we ate at the restaurant for dinner buffet $25pp and food was delicious and the selection very high quality! breakfast as well.
highly recommend this hotel for you to recharge before your flight!
Very close to the airport - that is why I picked it. I had 5.5 hours at the hotel. I had been travelling for 2 days and wanted to stop and lie flat in the bed. I had a lovely hot shower. the room was clean and cozy. I felt very safe. Nice plants and landscaping. I set 2 alarms to wake up on time for my early morning flight. Got a free ride to the airport 10 minutes away.
As welcome gift the hotel arranged pick up from airport for free, and also for a reasonable fee the shuttle back. Hotel staff very attentive, smiley and helpful. They demonstrated some flexibility when it came to alternative breakfast arrangements as we were living very early. We really like access to drinking water, thank you.
Such a fantastic hotel right by the airport. We booked this after a flight and it was incredible to be greeted by friendly staff. The room and facilities were amazing and just what you require when you’re tired and have just come off the flight. It’s effortless and we would recommend to anyone looking for a stop over.
It’s a sweet little hotel near the airport in a Beautiful location with trees, a pond , flowers and Llamas!! Lots of Ecuadorian character and charm. My room was huge and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Owner arranges taxi pickup. Can’t beat the price! Highly recommended !
This little hotel is really close to the airport in a nice little village of Yaruqui where we can enjoy a little walk, restaurants, etc The staff is really nice and do everything to help us for transportation and our safety.
It’s really calm and quiet at the lodge.
Taxi had trouble finding property. Better signage would help. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Nice alternative to staying at hotel and airport (for early am departure). Owner drove us to airport at 5am. $10. Very nice.
The hotel and staff were great. Everything was well organized, clean, and the staff was helpful. The shuttle pick up from the airport was there on time. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
This small hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and is good value for the money. Breakfast was good and you can order a meal from the kitchen or order in. Rooms are basic but clean.
Perfect place to spend a night between flights in the airport. Hotel provide transportation service (prices is a bit cheaper than Uber), place is very nice and cozy, perfect breakfast
cheap, quick access to airport (reliable arrangement from hotel even for middle of the night ie.1am, $8), clean room, room service food reasonably priced and tasty, quiet at night
