The food was great. The conditions in the rooms were very poor. Had to go to the front desk numerous times throughout my stay. The phone in the rooms or not working. The power Hotel went off numerous times and by the time they're generator would kick in we had to wait. We had to wait hours for towels because they didn't have enough clean ones. No shampoo no soap in the rooms.

The area is very noisy. A lot of traffic on the road. I did not feel safe and therefore did not explore the area. We stopped over one night and it was one night too long.Only encountered one person who spoke English and therefore it was very difficult to communicate with the locals.Hence your requests were dismissed because they do not understand what you are asking. Even with google translate it was quite a challenge.

Bo a chica has a nice and very vivid atmosphere very close to the airport and only 30 min from santo domingo center. You can tell it is a place where people living in the capital like to come to enjoy their week end. Unfortunately most people to not seem to care about littering resulting in the beach being full of litter. Another disturbing aspect is how everything there seems to be linked to prostitution justice anywhere else in coastal dominican republic when not in a big resort with a private beach.

Sand is grey and hard, not nice at all, and there is no privacy.
You can walk a 100 m but still, the water is to the knees. Also, the beach is packed with restaurants and bars with very loud music, and prices are very high for tourists.
Many locals are coming here as well so beach is too crowded and it is dirty everywhere, and I would never recommend it.
Surrounding area is dirty and we did not feel safe walking around, stayed most of the time inside the hotel area.
Prices in the restaurants are very high, we paid 1300 Pesos (around 25$ for 2 dishes, one fish and one chicken with potato, on a square right at the very noisy street, with plastic tables and chairs, served on plastic plates and cutlery. Dishes were tasty but not worth the price.
Definitely not a place we would ever chose to come back to.

Boca Chica shows the essence of Dominican Republic. Narrow streets, terrible traffic, unplanned lifestyle and unfortunately very poor towns. Beaches are so nice but local bars are to pushy. It is not a place where you can take a relaxing vacation at all. Unfortunately the local tourist offer is not friendly, even there is a sensation of scaming style all the time, either in restaurants, bars, or even Uber.
Riccardo is an excelent host, he was very welcoming and was always responsive when I had a question. The pool area is great and there is a small restaurant inside the apartment complex which cooks great and at a good price. My children had a great time and we were able to visit a couple of great neary restaurants called Pelicano and Neptunos at a 5 minute walking distance. I would stay in this apartment again if I was to return to Boca Chica.
The hotel is right on the beach, but just along from all the beach bars. Easy to visit the evening life if wanted, but quiet when not. Plenty of staff keeping the pace in order, and willing to bring you a beer at any time of the day. Good omelettes in the morning!
Rooms are basic but clean, but I visited for the beach, and was not disappointed.

Good breakfast with large choice and also fresh fruits.. very nice pool area with tropical plants, we did not expect this for an airport hotel. Perfect distance to airport.
Airport transfer: we booked it before arrival with Sichala taxi, the official taxi company of the airport, and paid only 10 USD.
The place is located in the more quiet part of Boca Chica near more upscale restaurants. Although the rooms are a little outdated, everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely nice and there was parking on-site. We stayed for one night to be close to the airport for an early flight. It was perfect for that.
So here are the positives. The location is very good, with walking access to the Boca Chica beachfront and many nice restaurants and shops. The food was edible and, at times, quite good. The resort's beach and pool areas were nice, but one would need to be an early riser to find seating. The beer and liquor flowed freely.
Clean place, valuable price, center of city, near beach, 600 meter from big supermarket, small one is near hotel! And very comfortable owner!!!
For the same price we got better room with two bedrooms and balcony into different sides of apartments.
The position is very good and it is the reason I chose this place. Boca Chica is not the best place in the Dominican Republic, we know, and tourism is mainly local, with internationals going to most famous locations of Punta Cana or La Romana.
Excellent hotel for a short lay over in Santo Domingo, close to the airport, very friendly staff, I arrived late and hungry and they were nice enough to make dinner for me,also Otoniel at the front desk is very nice, polite and helpful ;)
A very comfortable and clean place. The garden and pool are a nice oasis in the middle of Boca Chica. And last but not least the staff is extremely hospitable and try their hardest to make you feel at home! Enjoyed their meals as well!
Room very bright and a studio with a balcony was really enjoyable with view on the sea. Perfect to spend 1 or 2 days away from the crowded Boca Chica beach but not too far either and perfect before flying out
