We were looking for a quite camping location surrounded by nature. No need for specific extra comfort than a a small house and a few beds. The Egtved camping site was exactly what we needed. Nice site for kids to play without any worries.

I had to book accommodation on short notice due to a person I was meant to be visiting falling sick. This house was very well priced and in a location I like - outside the city, in beautiful natural settings. The apartment was very spacious, clean and had a very comfortable, welcoming vibe. The bed was comfy, kitchen had everything I needed. Maren is an amazing host - she was there to help at all times. She is a naturally caring person with a heart of gold, she made sure I was happy and comfortable and even gave me a lift to the airport to save money on a taxi. She even brought me desert when she discovered I only had basic food to eat.
Hotel Svanen Billund is 500 metres from Legoland and the Lalandia Billund Resort. It offers free WiFi and an early breakfast from 05:00.

Nice hotel near Legoland. The online reviews are a bit mixed, so I didn't really know what to expect, but my friend and I were positively surprised with the business double rooms. I guess most of the negative reviews is about the standard rooms.
The hotel is close to Billund Airport (two bus stops + a pleasant 10-min walk) and Legoland itself (10 min on foot). It looks more like a motel from American movies than an actual hotel (whichis often pojnted out in reviews for some reason) but that wasn't a problem at all.
The (business) double room and bathroom were spacious, clean and quiet (at the back of the hotel). We got rooms next to each other as requested. There was a large desk and fan in the room, together with tea/coffee and a kettle. Wi-fi worked very well.
There was a good selection of cold and hot produce at breakfast, including scrambled/boiled eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms and fresh-made waffles. Coffee was really good!
Situated next to Billund International Airport’s Terminal 4, this budget hotel is 5 minutes’ drive from Legoland.

Next to the hotel is also a big parking lot P1 where you can leave your rental 🚗.
Check in: The hotel has both regular and self-service check-in. There are three kiosks to do so - creating your own key cards is an interesting activity for kids, highly recommended.
Breakfast: Plenty of choices with many organic options. Fresh pancakes is a must have ❤️.

In Egtved I fueled only my car.
In Egtved I fueled only my car. I wasn`t sure how to operate the tank machine using my bank card. I asked a young man working there -CircleK- and he helped me to go through this procedure. My place of residence there was Egtved Camping Site.

The landlord is really friendly & helpful. We arrived at Egtved quite late in the evening. The owner showed us the way to our room. Nice & comfortable place. The friendly owner who also runs the gas station 500m always from the B&B. It's convenient to fill the sedan & have the breakfast. All is well.

We brought our own food. The kitchen and living area is large. It is very easy to get to Billund and Lego land and its a lovely setting for pure relaxation most of all. The nature surrounding is splendid, in fact breathtaking.
The location is nice in the middle of the nature surrounded by trees and grass,from billund airport the last bus is at 11 pm(have to make sure you withdraw some money from ATM to pay the bus in local money as they don't take card ) to Egtved the nearest village ,or share the ride with other travelers that are going in that way, which I did. excellent communication with the host, very kind drive me to Egtved exchange money for me to pay the bus back to Billund as I was heading to England as my final destination ,
It was cheaper than other hotels in Denmark - which are quite expensive! AWESOME food around the corner at the only pizza place in town. We - three of us - ordered spaghetti (white sauce), chicken salad, and a bacon cheeseburger. We've been everywhere and this was about as good of a meal (and unhealthy)) as we've had.
Hotel is just amazing and lovely. Name kinda implies that there would be breakfast, but in most hotels this is an paid option. Not here: fridge with sandwich components and amazing juice is for you. Owners are super lovely: give me a lift to a bus stop and wait there with me, making sure I’d get the right bus.

Yes, the hotel looks just like it probably did 50 years ago. But the rooms and bathrooms are clean. For the price your paying this is a very good hotel with a very special flair.
