Copenhagen is a beautiful small city. There are no extraordinary monuments but you can find lots of palaces, churches, museums, canals, bars. Everything is withing walking distance. Prices are very expensive but there are many food trucks on the street. The Rosenberg castle, rather a place, is a beautiful small palace, crowded with luxuruy objects. it is worth visiting it but be prepared to pay an unreasonable high fee, You cannot miss a boat trip by the canals. Starting at Nyhvn, probably the most popular place in Copenhagen. It is cheap, relaxing and you can see the city from another perspective. Refrain from visiting the famous little mermaid. Totally disapointing. But the parks and the castle nearby are worth a walk. One or two days are sufficente to visit the main attractions. If you also want to visit the museums, may be it will take a bit more. Visit the city during the summer or spring. During the winter, it is another city

Copenhagen is a very peaceful, not too touristy city.
Copenhagen is a very peaceful, not too touristy city. It is easy to get around on foot/ with public transport. We enjoyed visiting the castles (Christiansborg, Rosenborg), walking through Nyhaven and the rides in Tivoli. Had a nice small lunch and delicious coffee in Café Bastard. The best attraction according to us was the Glyptotek museum, absolutely loved it! The only downside of the trip were slightly higher prices than in our home country, but it was manageable. We recommend buying the Copenhagen Card, it is very easy to use and can save some money.

It was perfect! Great for a quick weekend get away.
It was perfect! Great for a quick weekend get away. We went for 2 nights/2 days and stayed in CabInn which was great. Tivoli gardens - highly recommend, absolutely gorgeous, little overpriced but still worth it, nyhavn- great walk, chilled atmosphere, gefion fountain - cute little area, round tower - extremely worth it, great views from the top! The little mermaid was so little that I couldn’t find it😂 Definitely would go to little mermaid again, especially that it’s at the other side of Copenhagen, but hey ho!

Plenty to see and do.
Plenty to see and do. Very easy and cheap to travel from airport to centre - use ticket machine in airport then lift (elevator) down to platform. We took a day trip to Malmo by train - easy and quick (get a return family ticket from the dedicated 'Travel to Sweden' machines in the station - different from the normal machines but well marked). Cafe in station entrance has great pastries and coffee - grab a ticket when you go in to get served in order.
Another day trip to Roskilde to visit the Viking Boat Museum was well worth it.
Got a 24hr travel ticket - (not the Copenhagen card which gives free transport and entry to museums as we only visited a few) and a late start meant we could also use it to get the train back to the airport next morning.

Copenhagen is a wonderful city.
Copenhagen is a wonderful city. Everyone we came into contact with tour guides, bar staff, restaurant staff, bus drivers were all friendly and helpful. The sites of the city are magnificent and magical, Yes, the mermaid is tiny but you have to see her, don't you? Catch a food tour and also a bus tour.
We ate twice at Frk. Barners Kaelders, superb Danish food. Dinner at Joanne gave us excellent Italian food with great service. Lunches we ate at Cafe Chilee and also Cafe Vivaldi. Have a delicious lunch then sit an hour with a beer and watch Copenhagen go by.
Buildings, history, culture, shopping, tours, sit still. Take your pick.
The location of this hotel was perfect, right next to the main train station which we used every day with our Copenhagen Card! The room was basic but good and the beds were super comfy! Breakfast was good with a decent selection, we left full everyday. The staff were lovely and the locker storage was very easy and convenient. If you're looking to stay for a few days and explore the city centre and further afield this hotel ticks all these boxes, would stay again!
Good hotel, tasty breakfast, helpful staff.
Location was very good. Close to the airport and close to the city centre. 15mins by bike to Nyhavn.
Rooms are rather small but that's normal in Copenhagen.
Overall very satisfied with our stay.
Beautiful hotel, a short walk away from the buzz of Copenhagen city centre. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The room was small but very comfortable and clean - perfect for a weekend getaway. Would recommend!
