It's a small cute city. Easy to walk around and very friendly. If I had an extra day I would have ventured out to see egholm and possibly the zoo. But I was happy strolling the river in the evening and walking around the town int he time I was here. Check out the colourful houses and coffee shops

Aalborg is a very friendly city to the visitors.
Aalborg is a very friendly city to the visitors. There are many nice cafes, Penny Lane is one of them.
There are many parks and beautiful lakes.
It is cheaper than Copenhagen but still expensive for people coming form the south of Europe.
If the weather is nice is a fantastic city for those who do not like much the noise of bigger cities and there is everything one needs.

Aalborg has a nice and modern city center for shopping, eating out or a walk along the water front. Even cruise ships anchor here. There are several parks and recreational area's with a pleasant atmosphere: The zoo, harbour area, Sauna's with a view over the water and nearby island.
The city is well equiped with cycling track and you should definitly explore the town by bike. The center was not to busy , so enjoy walking around as well.

Very continental European.
Very continental European. The old part of the city has a medieval charm to it. The city was really clean. I think it is perfect for a weekend trip. (For LGBT travellers QBar is definitely the place!)

Nice touristic place to spend a couple of days and use as a stay location for excursions to other locations (especially in the north and west regions). A lot of night clubs, theaters for performances, good restaurants and interesting parks like the music one.
Although a bit of a walk from Aalborg St., Cabinn is located next to hotspots like the malls, churches and so forth which make reaching destinations relatively accessible. Great staffing makes for a pleasant check in and check out process, and security is rather nice needing to use your keycard to get to your designated hallway then to your actual room. Good desk space, relatively comfy beds, and private bathroom facilities for this price point is rather nice.
Hotel is centrally located,on the main street of Aalborg where bars and clubs are.very close to main attractions by walk.Staff is amazing, they didn't turned down any of my request, thanks a lot to them for their care and customer focused approach.this was rare in Denmark for me amongst the places i have stayed.breakfast is very rich and delicious.room is nice, beds are comfortable.highly reccomend this place to travellers.
The location is very good, at walking distance from the railway station and close to many bus stops (including from and to the airport), close to the historical centre and the waterfront.
The hotel offers coffee and tea 24/24 and there are spaces for small gatherings (the downside of it being that the hotel is noisy).
The location was great; off a little street that led to the main street through Aalborg, and with roads leading off in all directions. The area was quiet and pleasant. The apartment was spacious and bright, with a comfortable bed and a good hot shower.
The room was cosy and clean. The breakfast was really good and the staff friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is really centrally located - near the city center and the bus stops and train station and yet it is quiet at the same time.
A good breakfast selection, TV in the bar area to watch the football, comfortable rooms and a great location. What is to complain about, pricing is normal Denmark (not cheap although comparable with other similar standard hotels).
Location was great. Just outside the city center of Aalborg, in Nørresundby.
Beds comfy, big rooms, clean and great parking just outside the hotel.
And the young woman who met us with a big smile in the reception was just great!
Pleasant stay at the hotel with decent amenities. The dinner we had was tasty, but a bit on the small side. In the vicinity there is nice Østeraadalen park. Also, shampoos and shower gels provided are really high quality ones.
The location next to the airport meant convenient access to transit. The staff couldn't have been any friendlier and went above and beyond during my stay. It was the best hotel of the three I stayed at in Denmark.
Fantastic hotel. Great location, close to the city centre. Comfy beds. Option of an apartment within the hotel which worked perfectly for with a group of friends. Friendly staff. Great range of breakfast options.
After staying in over 100 hotels and apartments during my travels over the last 3 years, I've finally found somewhere I deem to be a perfect 10/10 rating.
Need i say anymore!
