A very nice place to stay on our way home to Denmark from Croatia. I have been there 3 times before. The breakfast was very good and Jutta at the hotel is a very welcoming and nice person. Short distance to the old town. We will ba back.

A lovely little city in Lower Saxony, which seems to have been spared much of the destruction that beset Germany in the second war. (It also has one of Europe's best libraries...). One finds some good restaurants, too. I would recommend a Turkish place named Le Bosphore, on "Stadtmarkt Strasse".

Quiet location - just the occasional passing train. Cheerful welcome and chat from both reception staff. Modern, no-nonsense hotel. Nice room. Good breakfast.
