This is a beautiful place with excellent hiking from the door. Typical of the Black Forest there is a lovely themed walk which starts opposite the hotel. We saw lots of wild deer and enjoyed the very pretty stream which runs down the valley.

The best place to visit and experience the Black Forest. Centrally located near most of the attractions and a beautiful village with loads to see and do. We used a car rental from Offenburg and travel through the small towns and the Black Forest national park for several days. Easy parking and good hotels and restaurants. Wolfach is a wonderful place with so much to offer.
Free parking available in the hotel compound but those with "low" car please be mindful that the slope going up the hotel is kinda steep. It might scratch your bumper!
The room that I stay in has the best view looking at the hill of black forest.
The bed is very comfortable and the shower room which located in the room itself is perfect for me.
You get to choose which food you would like to have for breakfast. The serve bread, hams, cereal, yogurt and so on.
I definitely will come back to the same hotel..!!
The forest room was an absolut delight: clean, spacious, bright, lovely decoration, great bathroom, colours... The staff was helful and assisting at any time needed. The little town of Wolfach is totally worth a visit and from the accomodation there are a few hiking routes. Despire being close to the railways, it was totally quiet at night. I cannot wait to get back for a longer time. Oh, and the parking is right opposite to the hotel!
Wolfach is a small, very picturesque village, and even though the hotel, is not directly in the center, everything is very easy to reach on foot. The neighborhood is so quiet that you can sleep with open windows without being woken up. The hotel is very clean and suitable for disabled people. However, it is a place targeting the elderly, and not realizing this when booking, we were a bit out of place.

The friendly proprietor described an alternative walking route to the town, and we loved the adventure of the climb and then descent through woods, to the town, where we found dinner. (The return walk was shorter, along a road.)

From the room terras we had a nice view also on the garden full of flowers (July). A good breakfast incl. that we could enjoy outside on the main terras. A very friendly staff. A well designed , rather smaller, room and the parking place is at the back of the hotel. A good location, close to the center and nearby Schiltach
Cute, quaint hotel. Close to Triberg and Strasbourg so you can easily do day trips. Staff was very pleasant and helpful! We did not have the Luca app installed (to help with Covid tracing) and the owner helped us with that! Hotel has a convenient elevator to help you bring up luggage. Plenty of parking!
We liked everything about the hotel and staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly. Room was great, with view of creek and valley. Position in the country was great, you have to have transportation to get there, but that is good because your not in town!!
Hotel is located on main street, easy to find with free parking in back and breakfast was included. We had a quiet room in back on second floor with a small balcony. Several things to see/do in the area. Nice riverwalk.

Beautifully located in the centre of Wolfach. A great place to include in a motorcycle trip through Germany. Very friendly staff, Good restaurant and nice breakfast with good coffee. Clean and quiet room.
We stayed 2 nights in September. Room was very spacious and very clean. Restaurant evening meal was very good. (NB Restaurant closed on Tuesday evenings but the hotel opposite does good food too.)
The hotel is in the middle of the mountains with very little around but close enough to Hausach.
