The hotel is perfect for couples. The room looks romantic and not suitable for children. We wanted to spend quality time without noisy from neighbors or other families. The favorite one is the complimentary sauna for a couple in a romantic room. A sauna session with a partner in the winter is the most relaxing thing what we need after playing ski or other sport activities. We find the hotel very suitable for our needs. We will definitely come here again!

Wow! The location was awesome and having the ski rental right at the resort was perfect! Just a five minute walk and you’re at the lift.
Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. Room was small but nice and clean.

The pillows were by far the best we had in any hotel in Germany! Spectacular night sleep. Would go back just for those, but the sauna with panoramic view completes the awesomeness of this place.
On top of the outside pool (which gets a great view of the sunset), there is a gigantic indoor pool (this one unfortunately closes at 19h) and a great indoor wellness part that stays open until late.

The rooms were great and the staff was very nice. We had bread, fruit yoghurt and fresh coffee which is a good breakfast i think and with that we could walk to the next bus station to get to the dirtmasters festival and meet our friends

Although there was not a lot of snow, some areas were still open as they provided fake snow for people to ski. This was perfect for my partner and me as we were still beginners with skiing. Therefore, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to start learning to ski. Also, things were quite cheap there regarding food/ groceries and also leisure such as going to a wellness center.

The area is a professional ski resort and has a lot to offer. Unfortunately, we had no snow in the first week of the year.
Aside of snow sports, I can recommend the indoor playground MonkeyIsland because of the fair prices and their kind service. Our kids had a lot of fun there. Also, the wild park in Willingen filled a whole day of fun for all ages.

Perfect location, everything’s near! Wonderful views of the room we had..Mountain View and lawn view plus the sound of the rooster not only early in the morning cockadoodling but during the day as well! Makes you feel in a remote village.
Breakfast was ample and sumptuous, friendly staffs, lovely ambience, everything is neat. We had massage as well and it was so relaxing 4 nights stay at this lovely hotel! The small cozy restaurant served scrumptious schnitzel and trout fish and with portion of fresh green salad.
However, we didn’t enjoy the swimming pool, twas not warm enough!
Would love to come back and stay here again!

Winterberg is nice but the remaining adjoining towns are not as easy. Many of them do not have open restaurants for tourists. So do book a hotel and B&B that serve meals.
Apart from food and meals, everything else in Winterberg is absolutely splendid especially trekking and snow boarding

It was OK tot sleep, but nothing more than that. The menu for diner is poor and breakfast war regular. Nothing special. Ihe hotel has a outdated impression ans as we think a bit of delayed maintenance. Possible because of corona?

The restaurant food was very good. We ordered takeaway 2 evenings. You can also eat at the restaurant.
We received these tourists cards/tickets from reception which allowed us free entry or discounts to several attractions.
Located close to Winterberg. We didn't use public transportation because we had a car. We had to pay to use the parking facilities of the resort.
Swimming pool was great. The water was warm. Ideal for our baby.

From arrival to departure the staff couldn’t do enough to be helpful and friendly. We were welcomed, the hotel amenities were explained to us and we received maps, info sheets and discount booklet. the Wellness and Massage Service was very clean and very weil done. The pool and sauna area were clean and well looked after. Rooms and decor were rather retro but that added to the charm. Short driving distance to Winterberg. Definitely recommend and would use again. Breakfast and Restaurant food both very good.
The host was very kind and welcoming, she offered us lots of information about the activities in the vicinity and she wanted to make sure her guests are having a good time, which we greatly appreciated. The room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the pension and surroundings very peaceful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot and we'll most likely book again on our return to Winterberg.

On-site restaurant and bar are good options if you're not in the mood to go out. Conveniently located - approx 15 min walk to ski lifts and slightly further to restaurants....less than 5 minutes by car. Taxi from Winterberg station about €10.

Very poor breakfast, small portions out so you felt you could not take very much. Not as much variety as other hotels visited. Overall very disappointed. Did not bother to go on the last day of our visit as we just wanted to leave due to an incident the night before in the hotel.
The location of the apartment is fine for a short ski break. Small ski lift at approx. 100m from the appartment building.
The centre of town has sufficient facilities (bakeries, restaurants, ...) and is within walking distance from the apartment. The apartment has a covered parking at ground level.

Loved the size of our condo! Location is really great, so close to everything in and around Winterberg. The staff was really great- taking care of our needs and making sure we had what we needed. Our apartment was missing a toaster and they made sure we got one delivered. We want to come back and stay again, so that’s a sure sign of a great place!
The hotel is located near disc golf park where you can chose if you want to do Nordic skiing, slating or walking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is very nice and clean swimming pool and sauna. The restaurant is open all day. The hotel and restaurant are pet friendly.
The property is, clean, warm and most important near by the ski lift. The owner and the landlady are really nice, we arrived late in the night (around 22:00) and there was someone waiting to give us the key. Also there is a possibility for late checkout.

The house was cold initially, but it got cozier after the first day. Location was perfect for access to center of Winterberg, and not too far from the lifts by car.
Swimming pool and sauna in the basement were very nice after a long walk in the snow. Also, I came by train, and the hotel is a short walk from the station.
