My husband and I got to the hotel about 2 hours prior to check-in time.. I didnt think we would be able to check-in early, so i thought we'd have to wait outside for 2 hours. But we went and tried the front desk just in case they would be able to, they took my name and information with no problem. We were able to get our belongings set up in our room and call a taxi to pick us up so we can go to the Wine Festival. We got bad around 10 with no issues. When leaving the next morning, right before checkout, they offered us breakfast to go, even though the buffet was closed. We didnt have time, nor were we hungry so we politely declined, but it was nice to be offered. 10/10 would recommend this place, will stay again if ever in the area. :)

Very nice, clean, and comfortable accommodation. We had booked the double room but were upgraded to the apartment (at no extra charge), which was quite spacious and well-equipped. Staff was friendly and helpful,, and it was nice to be able to schedule a wine-tasting right there on the property!

The location was perfect for our short stay on the German Wine Road and our visit to the Wurstmarkt in Bad Durkheim. The facitily itself was charming and in perfect condition. Our hostess was very communicative and left us detailed instructions on how to access the property and our rooms. You could easily walk to several excellent restaurants in town and parking was super convenient as well. On top that we were provided with a small bottle of Riesling wine upon arrival and the breakfast was outstanding! Highly recommend!

Surrounded by the vineyards this hotel is a really good place to stay. The owner is very nice, he even provided me with the water kettle to keep in the room when I asked for it. Everything was clean and spacious.

Everything was fine, as expected. A little more expensive than I expected.

Perfect location and excellent staff. Connie in particular was an incredible help to us, and her English was wonderful! She guided us through setting up a winery tour (Buhler) and was very professional. The hotel was renovated after a fire in 2019 and the rooms are new and fully up-to-date. As is common in Europe, there was no AC, but the rooms had fans. It was cool at night so no problem with the windows open. There are rarely screens in the windows here so don't be surprised. The area is nice and quiet at night. Parking in the back was easy and free. I also appreciated that they accepted our VAT forms. We ate in the hotel restaurant (which has a Michelin Plate award, 2019) and the food was very good. Be sure to reserve your dinners in advance as they book up very fast. If you want to eat outside, those seats are always booked first, but keep in mind that it is acceptable to smoke outside at a restaurant in Germany, and people do light up (book your wine tour in advance as well. Buhler was slammed at noon with a long line waiting to get in). We highly recommend and would stay here again.
