Sesslach is a truly special place being preserved in the confines of its city walls. The Peortnerhof reflects that with unique, tad quirky but contemporary (very recent) rooms. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Property owner helped me when I couldn't figure out how to open the safe to get the key. Also, after the first night, we got extra blankets because of the cold (heating does not work at night in Germany). Very considerate owner!

I stayed there to visit my best friend of 30 years. She opened up a little Gasthaus with Bier Garten and she also has an artist gallery on the 2nd floor. I am sure I will be back for many more evenings at 'Baumann's'
