The location was great. Easy to find, park and go around. There was a machine for self-checking working up to 21:00 and this was helpful, but could be better informed. I rushed to arrive within the suggested checking time. When arrived within the suggested time, the reception which was supposed the be open, was actually closed and I used the machine anyway. If I knew in advance about the machine and the reception times, it would be great.

Lovely quiet town. Great forest and Heide landscape hiking nearby. The toy museum is quaint and a wonderful discovery, amazing collections! The Felto felt and textile museum is stunning, great technical displays and examples of felt products. Also has an amazing view from the rooftop! Soltau is such a gem waiting to be discovered, great value for money. Definitely recommend!

Over the years that I have been away from Soltau major changes had taken place.
I had a very enjoyable time in Soltau the 4 days I was there.
Hopefully I will be back in the Spring of 2020

Small town, loads of possibilities to eat outside (Brauhaus Joh. Albrecht was our choice; local beer and enormous portions :)). Connection to Heide Park is once an hour (once every two hours during the day) per public transport, not really optimal. Taxi from Heide Park to Soltau was 20 €, a bit excessive for the 7 km distance.
More than enough parking lots.
CheckIn was great, everything done within less than a minute.
The room was really large, the bed was fantastic and also the bathroom had a strange smell at first (disappeared within five minutes with the running exhaust system) the shower was really good, clean and without any mold.
We had dinner in the restaurant with burgers, spare ribs and some salmon it all the meals were great. And: Absolutely okay in terms of price!
The Breakfast was also good.
Despite the really odd name, this is a lovely place. Parking was no problem (and free), the host speaks very good English, the room was bigger than we expected, and our dog was welcome. There are some lovely walks in the area for exercising our four-legged pal (although the area clearly has a problem with moles!) and the attached restaurant is a fine place with a good-looking and interesting menu. Breakfast was also very good.
We stayed in this hotel because of proximity to Heide adventure park. It was probably about 7 min drive which was very convenient.

It was a good place to stay when visiting Heide Park, pretty close by, and to a good price. The hotel was not very special in itself, but the staff was very nice and helpful and let us leave our bags at the hotel during the day, before check in.
Room with bed and wardrobe, and large bath with excellent shower. Nice and clean. Generous parking. Staff was extremely gracious to stay late and check us in after our drive had taken longer than expected. Away from the road, no street noise.
They offer a good breakfast buffet. The location is very convenient if you have to visit Heide Park or Designer Outlet. The rooms are good size. Good parking facilities. Close to a super market and various restaurants.
The building is located in a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood, opposite a park, 5-8 minutes away from the town center. The host lives in the apartment below and he is a very nice person,
Great location close to the Autobahn. Great restaurant and good breakfast (but not as good as 5 years ago). Good internet and TV channel selection. Free parking just outside the hotel.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Organised, no fuss or issues with check-in or check-out. We ate a light meal in the evening, swift service, nice food, but a little expensive.

We regularly use Hotel Eden when travelling south, or returning. Good, sizable, comfortable and finly decorated room. Good breakfast and good restaurant.
