The location was outstanding. An easy walk from the train station and then an easy walk to the Altstadt. Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly, and the modern hotel provided a pleasant contrast to the medieval city. I actually recommended the hotel to some Frankfurt residents I met in Munich later in my trip.

Good stores for basic needs and there is a doctor and pharmacy too. Each we visited were great. We found all we needed in this town and didn't have to drive to Regensburg for necessities. The Kaiser Therm Spa is a 10 minute drive away. It is great too.
The hotel is unmanned and completely self-service. But the hotel's service is very meticulous and all aspects are taken into consideration. The hotel manager was worried about my language barrier and left me a message in the language of my nationality, telling me how to get the key and how to enter the building. All facilities in the hotel are very good and the beds are very comfortable. It's clean and tidy, and the kitchenette is fully equipped with all utensils, just like home. It’s a perfect score! grateful!
The hotel was a short deviation from the motorway and in a quiet little village. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent. Breakfast was a typical German breakfast of fresh cold meats and cheese. I would recommend this place as a stop over or as a base for tourists. I will definitely return.
Donau-Hotel is located literally next to the motorway. Although it's right next to it you don't hear any of the traffic. Rooms are clean and tidy. Beds are comfy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plenty and tasty (I do recommend getting the breakfast). Everything you would need is literally next door: Petrol station, shops...etc.
Excellent hotel! I cannot recommend it highly enough! Staff were friendly and helpful, location is right next to the oldest restaurant/pub in the world (which appears to be full every night so make a reservation) and the rooms are fantastic. WiFi was good as well.
Warm welcome and very kind from a hospitable staff! The hotel has also a nice restaurant / bierhof to have dinner or a beer. Very close to the highway in case you are looking to spend a night during your journey via Europe.
