On the plus side, the front desk was friendly, and we arrived slightly before check-in and they were happy to accommodate us. That was very nice. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean.

Beautiful location, right in front of the lake. There's a restaurant downstairs, which unfortunately closes at 6pm. On the plus side, it is very quiet. Staff were helpful and breakfast was nice. Balcony is semi-private; it is shared with the rest of the guests (there are 4 rooms)
Once it gets dark, you can see that seagulls rest on the deck. Shortly before sunrise, they...well, seagulls being seagulls. The soundproofing of the room was amazing though. When the window is closed, you hear pretty much nothing.
The room itself is spacious. There is a small walk-in closet and there's a mini fridge inside.

Very calm area, very nice stuff, very clean. We could rent bikes and it was ok that we could not decide, for how long we wanted to use them. The breakfast buffet was very good too and offered fresh food for each taste. There is a restaurant with great cuisine. I enjoyed my time very much.

The apartment was in a very central area of the old town and just a short walk to the Schloss which was very interesting with beautiful gardens on the lake.
Lieblingsnest apartment was very comfortable and well equipped but the bedroom was very cramped and had too little airflow. It really needed a ceiling fan. There were too many doors for such a small space.

Unexpectedly beautiful city. A lot of old and well kept houses, and a very extravagant castle.
Unfortunately not all of the city is well kept, but the overall impression is good.
There are several nice restaurants, and the Christmas market is very nice.
The city also have a lot of shopping opportunities, including shopping centers. Beware that the shopping centers have very few elevators and toilet facilities.

A very pleasant and picturesque city in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with good rail services for exploring the remainder of the state. There is a good range of shops, restaurants and bars. The Staatliches Museum Schwerin is highly-rated, but was closed at the time of writing (November 2022).

Many shopping and restaurant options.
Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to detach a bit from the etic lifestyle of the city.

An amazing City well worth the visit. This city has arguably the most beautiful castle in Europe! The government buildings museum and churches are great as well. The location along the water and it fountains make it a definite place to visit!!
I went there because I needed to be close to the Train Station - and this Hotel is perfect for that purpose in Schwerin! Rooms are small but adequate and comfortable. Service is friendly and efficient. I didn't go for Breakfast but I DID go for dinner in the Bulgarian Restaurant downstairs and enjoyed the Food and the Service. Locatßon is also fine for sightseeing in this remarkably beautiful city - just over 10 minutes walk to the famous Schloß Schwerin and other magnificent buildings.
The name of the hotel speaks for itself - we travelled by bike and could store them perfectly safe and also charge them. The bike storage is accessible with the room key which gave us more freedom in comparison to other hotels where you have to get the key from the reception.
The rooms are small but are clean and have everything you need. The breakfast is phenomenal - very good selection of food. And the location is perfect whether you want to do more biking or explore Schwerin by foot.
The location is within walking distance from the historic district and yet tugged away into a corner, away from the tourist buzz. Great. The hotel has an elevator and thus is easily accessible for older and disabled people. The staff was friendly, helpful, and flexible. The room was impeccably clean. The breakfast had plenty of options beyond the ordinary (including options for vegetarians, lactose intolerant people, plenty of seeds and nuts etc.). Excellent.
The houses are sufficient sized and sufficiently furnished. The living room is spacious, but the bed rooms are small but sufficient. For a longer stay some more closets would have been nice (only 1 x 60cm closet per bed room and a drawer chest. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The location close to the Schwerin lake is nice (even these are not the lakeview house, but the second row of houses) and the distance to the City is about 30 minutes.
The hotel was located centrally, within walking distance of Schwerin Mitte railway station. There was a tram/bus stop very close to the hotel with services to the city centre and the main station. The buffet breakfast was lovely. The hotel's evening bar was very pleasant.
Fantastic location. You can't do better than that in Schwerin. The magnificent castle is virtually just across the road. The apartment is also spacious, clean, and has pretty much everything you need. It was also very easy to check in and out.
The location was spectacular, steps from the castle, and the food and wine in the Bistro (George) were phenomenal. The room was comfortable and spacious, and there was an elevator, a cute little kitchen garden patio, and a luggage cart.
The location was close to the center about 10 minutes walk. We did not get breakfast from the hotel. The room was clean and big. There was parking behind the hotel however you have to pay for the parking.
Beautiful appartment very close to the center of Schwerin. The perfect host. Very kind lady and extremely helpful. Very much appreciated! The pool in the appartment building was an additional plus.
