Although in the process of renovation, the bedroom we stayed in and the (shared ) bathroom were of a high quality. I loved the decor and the tasteful accessories. The little touches, like cotton earbuds in the bathroom, made a point of difference.
It IS work in progress but I can see now this will be a great chic and classy looking pension.
Ideal location in the old town of Schlitz and for the Mainradweg.

The location is great. A very calm village, perfect for a getaway from the city life.
Offering free WiFi internet and wonderful views, this traditional hotel in Bad Salzschlirf is located opposite the spa gardens and a 10-minute walk from the railway station.
We travelled by motorbike and were greeted outside the hotel and directed where to park directly outside the door. The rooms were unique and pretty. The garden is a real bonus in the centre of town and such a haven particularly on such a hot day, with a variety of seating including a hammock and swing. There is an honesty bar which worked really well and well stocked. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip from the usual variety of ham, cheese, breads to fresh fruit, smoked salmon and freshly prepared scrambled or fried eggs.

this is one of the best hotel i have booked, if we are talking about value for money.
so beautiful and very professional lady on reception. excellent bed, amazing old town surrounding. and big bonus, we were traveling saturday early morning. so, the lady on reception, told us tat they start breakfast buffet 1 hour earlier, special for our family. that was very very kind
Fantastic stay in a great location within castle walls. Hotel has been extensively modernised, room was very clean and staff helpful. Breakfast offers something for absolutely everyone. Parking is right outside (at a charge) and restaurants are near by. This is a must stay when in the area!
A really nice ferie-appartment located at the center of Schlitz, in the old part of the village. It is confortable, it has quite all, a good place for family that travel with pets. A really good service too, with the possibility of the pub/restaurant there, where you can eat well.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Schlitz within easy walking distance to all the old Town sites and several restaurants. The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable.
