we recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded our expectations! From the moment we stepped through the entrance, we were greeted with warm smile and good service. This hotel truly knows how to make guests feel special. They made sure we had all the information we needed for a comfortable stay and even provided some excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. The hotel's location was ideal, it is near Eifel national park attractions. I can only recommend Hotel Haus Salzberg garni.

The apartment was huge. More space than I needed but I absolutely loved it. It had 2 separate terraces/patios, a comfortable living room and a spacious kitchen (I liked the little kitchen nook with the bench). Reserved parking space was great to have (easy access in/out of parking lot/courtyard). Enormous bathroom. Lots of windows everywhere. Internet worked great. Located right on the main street but interior was quiet. One bedroom faces the front and the other bedroom faces the back (and has it's own terrace). I appreciated that both patios were fully furnished with a ton of seating. Great views from the front patio. Nice views from the kitchen as well. This place is perfect for larger groups of people especially families. Do not hesitate to book. There is plenty of space and privacy within the unit. It's great!

I have been to that part of the eifel very many times over the years and they are many activities and things to do in the area.
It is easy to visit the local towns of Schleiden, Gemund and Kall and there many activites and places of interest in the area in cluding the Mosel River, Koln, Aachen etc.

Schleiden is quite small, but it does have all the necessaties: a pharmacy, a couple restaurants/bars, supermarket and a gas station for instance. The village is easily accessible and if you want you could even walk from there to park Eifel (aprox. 13 km). We ate at Taverne Samos, and it was good food! Had some drinks at pizzeria Paradies (with a very friendly owner), which was nice.

Place is good for groups and hiking people. Try to go thr with car as public transport is not good enough and limited and bicycle for roaming around or for hiking. Lots of greenery,lakes ,dam, birds fresh air, nice short cut from daily routine.

It was incredible with everything we expected and more. The hosts were very friendly and explained how everything worked. The beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Supermarkets were in the neighbourhood.
There were some welcom drinks in the refrigerator.

The house is fantastic and the renovation is beautifully done. The appartement is spacious, fully equipped and comfortably decorated. It's clean and the WiFi is great. The garden is at your disposal and equipped with lots of seating. Dogs are allowed at this accomodation which was a great plus for us. The house is located right beside the forest so you can have a nice walk whenever. Eifel National park is only a 15 minute drive from the house. The host is excellent, helpfull, friendly and speaks english.
The apartment is situated beautifully in the hills of the Eifel area. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room is cosy and the bed (room) is very comfortable. Everything was clean and looked proper. The host was very friendly and gave some good tips for attractions to visit close by (for instance Vogelsang IP). And the location is perfect, hiking trails start right around the corner and there is a restaurant within 5 minutes walking distance where delicious schnitzels (and other dishes) are served.
A nice place, brandnew,,with quality furniture and comfort. Hope that the next visitors keep it nice also.
We had our own groundfloor appartment. In quiet environment. If u want to walk in the nature park, it's ideal.
Bakery is not far away, also pharmacie and restaurants.

The hotel was spotless the staff delightful the position was very poor. The breakfast was very good. Car parking was poor. The worst thing was that at19-30 there was no food available! So as you can see our visit was rather mixed. Also the address is very misleading as it is situated 6 kilometres from Schlieden
Very friendly owner. After 4 restaurant nights we needed a light meal and bought salads in the local supermarket. Owner gave us plates and cutlery..
The breakfast is excellent and we could also make and take a picnic lunch for along the Eifelsteig.
Host was very friendly/helpful, nearby to shop and restaurant and in a beautiful location near walking trails at Eifel national park. Facilities were good with comfortable bed, nice shower and decent breakfast.
