We couldn’t have had a better experience - we didn’t want to leave. Without a doubt please book here - you’ll want to wish you could stay longer. We arrived to a charming bed and breakfast and had booked 7 of the 8 rooms. All rooms had wonderful character with three having balconies overlooking the vineyard. Wine was available for purchase - we had happy hour watching the sunset. It was a 20 min walk/3 min drive to the Christmas markets. We returned and capped the night with local wine surrounded by beautiful holiday decor in their restaurant. Breakfast was included and it felt like we were in a magazine. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you to the hosts! We hope to return!

Worth a visit.
Worth a visit. The wine restaurants with life music is just from an age, when Germans started to travel again after WW2 in the sixties, but it is fun, original and people are very nice and friendly.
I'll definitely do it again with guests from oversees!!

The staff were very helpful and friendly, all areas clean and well maintained even though hotel is slightly dated, but this just adds to the character of the building. Breakfast was excellent with eggs cooked to order and plenty of yogurts, fruit, juice, breads, meats & cheeses etc
Room spacious, well heated (required as visited end November for Christmas markets) with good powerful hot shower.
We chose because it had own on site parking as we are on a road trip and were glad we did.
Would definitely stay here again.

The locals were very friendly especially our host Thomas. The wineyards are beautiful and we loved the gondola tour up the mountain while we walked the trails down the mountain. The wine museum and musical entertainment were a great way to spend the evening. Thank you Rudesheim am Rhein!

Charming, comfortable hotel a little off the beaten path (five minute walk to everything). Very pretty building facade. Staff was extremely nice and breakfast was typical with everything we needed. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we stayed on a Monday but the restaurant/breakfast room is really cozy and comfortable. Room was fairly basic but spotlessly clean. We stayed in a comfort double. Bathroom not large but there was a small shelf behind the toilet for a little storage.
Love this magical hotel that is closest in proximity to Hildegard's Abbey. I do wish there was a small refrigerator in the room/water for tea, but that's okay. The staff was very helpful and I LOVED my room with a clear view of the Abbey! Beautiful! The food was great in the restaurant. It is a bit off the beaten path for those wanting to be closer to the main street/shops, etc. BUT I LOVED that. I walked miles which was welcomed and beneficial! :)
Among 8 hotels we stayed during our holiday, this family-run hotel was the best one. The facilities might not be the first class in comparison to a big 4 or 5 star hotel. But the staff treated us more like their family members. The location was good for us and views from our booked room were fantastic. The hotel restaurant provides very delicious dishes for dinner. We had all our dinners in the hotel restaurant during our 3 night accommodation.
Medium-sized family run hotel, very nice staff, great breakfast, located very close to the river with a nice view. Restaurant is also good, with fair prices. The parking area is large and free for hotel guests. Rooms are modern and clean, beds are comfy. Only a short walk to the boats and the chairlift. If you want to enjoy the Middle Rhine valley, but do not want to stay directly in Rüdesheim, then this is the place you should visit :-)
The hotel is perfectly situated in the center of Rüdesheim, close to Rhein and a few steps away from restaurants and bars. Just around the corner there is a public parking with plenty of space (end of April), payable only during the day, and free at night. Our room was spacious and very clean. Good breakfast with a number of options. Very nice lady serving coffee and cacao for breakfast.Overall a very nice stay.
What a beautiful hotel! It is old, charming, and quiet! I went there with my husband for a nice relaxing getaway and this hotel did not disappoint. The hotel is nearly 500 years old and shows its charm. The village is also quite nice and the local red wine is amazing. Highly recommend for couples who just want to get away for a bit.

I have celiac disease so I couldn’t eat at the hotel but I found gluten-free food at the restaurant Breuers Rusesheim Schloss in the famous Drosselgasse St. Loved the 5 hours cruising on the romantic Rhine.
Very good breakfast served at the table. The view over Rhen river from the room and restaurant is excellent. Varm and welcoming reception at the hotel. Ni trouble to change check-in time. Assmanhausen is quiet and nice. It´s near to Rüdesheim. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. Good value.
Breakfast was good but way too crowded because they served 2 hotels in same room. So we had to wait for a table and lineups for food. The breakfast staff and reception staff were terrific.

Standard room was extra large, all staff exceptionally helpful, well lit (best we had in Germany) with great breakfast buffet. Cleaned and refreshed room each day. Very quiet room. Minutes walk from the Rhine Boat and train station. The restaurant was excellent for dinners.
The restaurant area and lobby has a lot of character and fits perfectly into the town village of Rudesheim. It is conveniently situated in the center of town, close to the cable car, restaurants, shops and boat exercusions
In the heart of town, excellent food, great atmosphere, right off of the Drosselgasse, still has on premises parking. Unique Glockenspiel right in the Hotel Biergarten. Room decent and very clean.
Perfectly located just off the Drosselgasse the hotel has a 24 hour bar, excellent breakfast, underground garage for parking our motorcycles and very friendly staff.
