Breakfast buffet was excellent, with ample hot coffee and attentive staff. Dinner in restaurant revealed a great chef!
Enjoy panaramic views over the Rhine Valley hotel in Remagen-Oberwinter.

Reastaurant staff told me that my dinner would take a long time because of a bus full of people arrived. Ridiculous and not my problem. They should foreseen that.
This family-run hotel is located in the historic village of Kripp, on the left bank of the Rhine River. It offers a traditional restaurant. Private parking is free.

Remagen was convenient for me for an overnight st, coming by train from Edinburgh on the day, and likewise as an overnight stop on the last day of my holiday.
All travel was, of course, by train.
On my first visit I had to visit 'the bridge'. A very historic place.

Remagen is an ordinary little town, not at all touristy.
Remagen is an ordinary little town, not at all touristy. The great River Rhine is fascinating. Remagen is a central and near enough the major cities and The Ahr and Mosel areas for good touring. Good bus and train services, as well

Remagen is a lively town, with a lot of shops and restaurants. The Rhineboulevard gives it a holiday feeling. Their are a lot of hikes possible, there is some historical interest. We hope to come back and stay about a week.

The Rhine Valley is beautiful, lined with castles and vineyards. There are numerous restaurants and cafes. We liked to go to the Shroeder's Wacht am Rhein restaurant on the promenade. The Church of St Apollinaris is worth a visit.

Handy for the river link to Linz-am-Rhein.
Handy for the river link to Linz-am-Rhein. Remagen itself has little to offer except a very neglected Peace museam. The famous bridge is surrounded by weeded areas and graffiti all over the place. A sad reflection of the attitude of the Europeans to their history.
Hotel Pinger is an ideal position to do a self tour of the many local rail companys just 20 metres from train station
A Travelodge style room with 2 single beds side by side
good clean bathroom with a nice shower
wi fi on 4th floor was weak in bedroom better in corridor
only one pillow on each bed
breakfast at 7.50 euros per day was a bit spartan
nice bar friendly staff
yes i would return if doing more rail boat trips
more info on rail and boat trips in english would be good
tho mr pinger had all the answers if you asked him
5 star bike storage. We were on a cycling holiday down the Rhine and this was one of the only hotels we stayed in that had a dedicated bicycle storage area. It also had charging points for DI2 and electric bikes. It could have rings to lock you bike on to. If you don't feel your bike is safe your stay will not be good however great the hotel is. Great breakfast. Very large room.
The terrace balcony enabled us to watch the many, many boats go by. it was very interesting. Our room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Having a restaurant on site was great! We also enjoyed our visit to Schloss Drachenburg via the train at Linz ( ferry is just 7 min away from the hotel).
Marc with a C took his job very seriously here. One of the best customer service agents I have ever met. He gave me a 100% on all my requests. The modern style hotel was very close to the train station and the Rhine River. The room was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent.
Lovely hotel on waterfront of the Rhine. Very friendly and helpful staff . Small but satisfactory room for the price with comfortable bed and good shower. Good breakfast. We enjoyed our evening meal in their restaurant - good food and perfect location. Good facilities to lock up our bikes.
Really a restaurant with rooms at the Rhine car ferry. Note that it is not actually in Remagen, but in Kripp - this makes 40 mins difference if you are on foot.Worth paying for a balcony room unless you really don't care about a view.
This is an amazing, new hotel. Rooms are perfect with amazing vistas of the mighty Rhine river. Ensuite shower 🚿 is spacious & immaculate. TV is excellent modern. Breakfast was amazing on the veranda.
This is a great hotel. Clean. Central location. Staff is very friendly. If the front desk is closed they make sure you can access the room key from outside hotel. Very quiet. Get to breakfast early!
the staff were very welcoming and it was a lovely quiet location. The hotel is modern with well equipped rooms. the views facing the river are lovely. food was good but not exceptional
friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast (included) and a delicious dinner which we purchased. hotel is on the Rhine..we had a excellent view of the river from our window.
Nice hotel in a quiet area along the river Rhine. Nice view close to the ferry to Linz am Rhein. Large room and large bath room. There is a restaurant. Great breakfast.
