The room was an ordinary hotel room with a carpet floor. Our room was located at the end of the corridor thus no noise from other guests passing by. On the other hand it faced the service station and the nearby road, though surprisingly not much noise during our visit. The breakfast was good with cold and warm dishes. We chose to park along the nearby streets and this worked out well. There were places in the proximity of the hotel.
Gala Hotel is located within the green outskirts of Pforzheim, which is also known as the "Golden Gateway to the Black Forest". Free WiFi internet is available throughout the hotel.

The restaurant was not open, however there was a lovely little bar in the court yard. Very friendly guests and staff. There was a takeaway just around the corner.

Pforzheim is a little GEM in Germany... gateway to the Black Forest, but not to remotte or too crowded.. lots going on if you wanted it and if you wanted peace and quiet like I did then you could have that also.

We required a stop over on a drive From Northern Italy (Ortisei) to Brussels.Pforzheim was the mid point. The hotel was good with associated secure parking. We had a good breakfast but did not use the restaurant for the evening meal as it appeared somewhat overpriced for the hotel. We ate in a nearby Greek restaurant. The town sadly was destroyed by bombing in the latter stages of WW2 and apart from a river very little of tourist interest in the centre of the town,
Rooms a good, clean and spacious. Comfortable bed(s) and good toilet facilities are good apart from old fashioned showers.
The Staff are exceptionally helpful & friendly. The Restaurant for breakfast is well appointed with a good selection of fare on offer. The car parking facilities are first class and very secure.
Access from to Autobahn in simple and just 2 minutes to the hotel.
Overall a very good Hotel Residenz
which I will continue to use.
The hotel was very quite and had off-street parking in the yard round the back.
The hotel restaurant was closed but there are a couple of other places nearby for dinner.
The owner was very friendly and I enjoyed my stay.
The location was convenient for the Autobahn
Breakfast was nice - fresh coffee and rolls, eggs, ham and cheese. I would consider this hotel again.
Set in a very quiet area just about a mile outside Pforzheim city centre. Small but adequate kitchen with 2 hobs, microwave and fridge. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Small but perfectly acceptable bathroom with lovely hot shower.
Comfortable bed located right in front of large T.V.
Good to have outside area.
The breakfast buffet was very good. So many different choices! I stayed for four days and there was something different and yummy every day. Gluten free, dairy free, and even vegan choices.
The staff was also very helpful. I liked the cleanliness of the hotel and the fact that each room had its own climate control.
Nice no-nonsense hotel aimed at company gatherings and meetings, but yet suitable for a stopover stay. Friendly staff, clean and spacious room in a beautiful and quiet green garden setting. Tasteful dinner and breakfast buffets, all in all for reasonable prices.
The breakfast was good. Also the location although I was concerned about the proximity of the railway station. But I slept well. The hotel is simple but good in the measures of quality/price.
Clean functional apartment with a good value for money
Pforzheim makes a good traveling point if you have a car and want to travel around Stuttgart, Baden-Baden and the black forest area.
A good room with a clean bathroom. The hotel is located very close to the city center. Good breakfast with good choice of food. Late check-in is possible.
