Great place for a few days if you need a comfortable room downtown and are able to organize your day independently. Looks like they are mostly providing rooms for the courses and seminars in the slow winter months, no cyclists on site at this time of the year.
Centrally located in the Elsen district of Paderborn, this hotel offers comfortable accommodations and free Wi-Fi internet access and excellent links with the A33 motorway.

I'm a bit biased as my mother and grandmother are from Paderborn but I had not been there for quite a few years, so I wanted to see the Christmas market. That was amazing beautiful lighting great shopping loads of things to eat. You need to visit the Dome and other churches around the area as they are lovely, nothing like them in the UK. I will definately be going back there to see Libori in the summer. Lots of places to eat, lovely walk around the Paderquelle and the gardens

Paderborn has quite a variety of ethnic restaurants.
Paderborn has quite a variety of ethnic restaurants. The Indian cuisine is above average. There are plenty of bus stops with frequent stops. The buildings and architecture are beautiful. The parks are fairly clean with few bums and beggars. Seems like a nice family city. The public pools are clean and friendly. The underbelly seems a much smaller section of town than normal for the Ruhr region. Very above average overall!

The Alte Rezidenz cafe/diner is a short 5 minute walk on the high street. Nice food and drink, not expensive.

highlight was Gut Ringelsbruch where my mom and her family lived and worked for a few years - ate at the restaurant which is located in the barn where my mom lived & worked as a child
food & service & location was AMAZING
We stayed in the fourth floor suite and we loved it. We'd give it more than ten stars if that were possible. Everything in the hotel is beautiful and the proprietor goes well beyond expectations to help make your stay enjoyable. The suite is very spacious, with separate living room and kitchen. The location is brilliant for seeing the Carolingian antiquities, and there are several restaurants of different cuisines in the same street. Parking is very easy. We'll be back!
Was our first time to visit any hotel from this small chain, so did not know what to expect. We were positively surprised.
Big room, all ammenities like coffee, tea, soaps, hairdryer. Very clean. You can open the windows which is a big plus for me. And very clean.
Bakery in the same building. That 13.5 eur breafkast they offer at the hotel is the buffet breakfast at that bakery. You can of course go for a smaller breakfast there.
A very nice hotel at a great location. Easy to find and just a short, nice walk through the park along the Pader to the centre of the town. The hotel looks nice, warm and modern. Staff is very friendly and professional. Breakfast is very complete and well looked after by the staff. Even at very busy moments during the weekend they look every few minutes if everything is still well stocked.
Excellent location within the city centre. Even if someone chooses not to walk, it's very close to a bus stop. The room was spacious, very clean, very quiet at night, and staff was friendly. There was someone at reception at all times, therefore, there are no restrictions on check in/out time.
First we got by accident a non-cleaned room. Immediately we got a another room, with a lovely view. Got a super personal reception and great service, even when they where busy, very busy. Centered in Paderborn, and serve a nice late evening meal and cold beers.
Delicious new room.
A nice place to stay, it was clean and comfortable. The hotel manager was friendly and ready to help. The location was also good, a bus station nearby and about 10 mins to the city centre.
The location is perfect for Paderborn, the apartment we had separate to the main hotel were ideal for us. we will be bringing our family in the summer for a stay as we had a fab time.
