We know the town well, having family in the area. The Old Town is very attractive. We were here in the Summer so made use of the excellent large outdoor pool with the family. The shops have changed over the years like many other towns, and the main Department Store has closed.Nurtingen is near to the Swabische Alb and Hohen Neuffen is easy to visit with a car or cycle.
I did not stay myself but booked the room for my parents in law. They were extremely happy with the room and the hotel and also the very friendly and helpful owners. The hotel is ideally located in the old part of the city. Their room was facing the river. The hotel is small but cosy and everything is very new and clean. The hotel does not offer breakfast but you find enough good bakeries in easy walking distance.
I stay regularly at Hotel Vetter for work. Rooms are all clean, breakfast is good, coffee is very good. It is close enough to Nürtingen city centre to walk into town if you want to. Some of the bathrooms are a little dated, but renovations are ongoing. The prices are also stable, other hotels in the region have very volatile pricing.
The room was overall okay, the breakfast also - it had anything needed, the parking was paid (10€ a day) but there were enough places to park. Staff was very friendly! We booked the hotel as a couple holiday but I think it would be a better match for business travel. Bed was comfortable and location was very central.
Staff was very attentive to the COVID rules when other guests weren't wearing masks. Breakfast was very good but the price is a bit high but I think this is the norm for hotel breakfast buffets. They even had a dog goody bag! Nice extra touch!!
The room was very clean and quite large . Lift was available. Bathroom clean . Staff when we did get to see them were friendly but apparently not too many English speaking people visit this hotel/restaurant so not much English spoken .
This is a fantastic little hotel very modern and clean rooms very spacious. The stuff are very friendly and the restaurant has some of the nicest food I think we've ever had in Germany highly recommended
Room was comfortable and clean with good facilities. Breakfast was also very good and reasonably priced.
A little expensive, but everything was as you would expect from this class of hotel.
Nice hotel, clean as recently renovated, great location in Nurtingen overlooking the river.
The hotel owner was welcoming, and very understanding to the challenges we faced at the hotel.
The lady who runs the hotel made me breakfast as well and it was very tasty breakfast.
The hotel itself is in a remodeled german house, so as a foreigner I really liked the aesthetic.
