We stay in Noerdlingen quite often, visiting family. The hotel we usually stay in was fully booked so we tried out this one. It was a real positive surprise.
The location is great. Noerdlingen is all about the historic downtown and this hotel is just 200m or so outside the wall. You can walk in in 5 minutes but have all the upsides of being outside, such as free and unlimited parking.
The design of rooms, dining room and reception are is really great. It's quite modern with concrete and wood but it really works. It's really beautiful. The rooms are spacious and have enough room to open up a big suitcase - at the price of not having a full closet. Shower is great.
The breakfast buffet is really good. There's a big choice of hot and cold items. It was EUR 18 per person, which is really good value. We didn't have dinner.

Lovely stay in Nördlingen. We were met at the drive by the owner who showed us to our room. There are 2 rooms on the ground floor and one on second floor. Breakfast was served in the backyard in a lovely greenhouse. Spent time with the owners and their sweet dog. Very quiet and relaxing. Excellent recommendation for dinner at Riesling. European breakfast was fresh and delicious. Free WiFi.

We loved this apartment! It’s cozy with everything you need. The bed was comfortable and we loved all the small details that really made us feel welcome. There was clearly a lot of thought put into how to make the space as efficient as possible. As a business traveler with my wife tagging along, we enjoyed the location - just minutes from the city center and directly on the beautiful city wall - and the quiet street. Unbelievable value for money! We’ll definitely be staying at Stadtmauer Apartments again!

It is an interesting town but not as pretty as Dinkelsbul or as olde-worlde as Rothenburg. The buildings here are larger, and the main selling point is that its walls are complete and you can walk all the way around. There are also some good museums, one about the city walls and one about the meteorite that landed here. The latter is all in German but they were able to lend us a tablet with English translations. We stayed 2 nights but one would probably have been enough.

Noerdlingen is a wonderful old city with a complete wall that you can walk around. From the cathedral tower you can see the rim of the Ries meteor crater that the city is in. The agent in the city's tourist information office was very helpful.

Not too touristy, but plenty for tourists to do.
Not too touristy, but plenty for tourists to do. Beautiful old German city with an intact city wall and gates! You can climb the tall church tower and see to the edge of the crater (weather permitting). Check out the crater museum or the city museum or the wall/tower museum. Walk on the old city wall. Take a day-trip to Dachau or Burg Harburg (large old castle). Rent e-bikes and go for a ride. Grocery store and several bakeries in the center of town. Lots of restaurants.

The complete city wall was fun to explore.
The complete city wall was fun to explore. We ascended the 350 steps of the church tower in the center of the town for a terrific view of the town and surrounding area. The town is cute and a good choice for a stop along the Romantic Road.

Great little place with all the charm of a warm cup of cocoa on a winter day (even though it was summer). Rothenburg ob der Tauber gets all the tourists, while this place retains it's soul. The Train museum is good. The people of the town are friendly. The value of the accommodations and food are worth driving the extra 45 minutes from Rothenburg. We are definitely coming back.

Nordlingen is a lovely town, very clean with a good selection of shops and eateries, and fabulous old buildings. I'd recommend the walk up the church's Daniel Tower if you are able to climb the 365 steps, the views are amazing. Walk around the town on the city walls too.

Very stylish apartment including all you can need. We loved the style (awesome green tiles and painting! ☺), nice kitchen corner (cute and useful) and clever design! The location is great, right next to the city wall and close to the main square. And what is more, the owners are really nice! Thank you and we are glad we could visit charming Nördlingen. The room was sparkling clean, the bed large and comfortable. As in most hotels of this type, the room would be too small for an extended stay and doesn´t have much of an ambiance, but is perfect for 1 or 2 nights passing through. Everything you need is there, Breakfast was very good, and an attendant made sure everything was always available and kept clean.
The hotel enjoys an excellent location just inside the city walls. The room was clean and comfortable if a little cramped. A good selection was provided at breakfast. Parking is also available. A good base to explore Nordlingen, which is a lovely town if a little quiet at night. The hotel staff were friendly, but a little distracted on our visit.
Sustainable practices and very clean and modern lines and comfort. Coffee with grinder and French Press in room nice, as well as kettle. Fan in room is nice add and rare in Germany. Breakfast quite nice, but value at €13.50 pp maybe at limit. Location is fine as truly 5 minute walk to edge of old town and wall, and adjacent.
+ The place is comfy, great but not the best. I would say it is cleaned properly. My room smells like a glue (or some other chemical) near the door. But the room overall didn't smell.
+ The area is so calm. It is basically a small town/village outside Nördlingen. People and the neighbourhood are very nice
The art hotel is actually a new facade on an older hotel. We kind of liked the character of the interior, it was a bit of a throwback. The bed was huge. Not staffed in the evening but check-in went fine through the lock box. Good free parking in the rear.
A nice and friendly hotel. It’s close to the center, the staff is friendly and polite. The people in the reception can speak English and German. The breakfast was very good. We really recommend the JUFA Hotel. Extra duvet and pillows were available.
The hotel is very well located just outside the historical centre of the town. We also appreciated its parking right in front of/behind the hotel building and a pet friendly attitude. We didn't have breakfast which we regretted in the end.
Located in the center of Nordlingen. Very convenient for getting around the town. Delicious breakfast included in the price. They also had a delicious lunch special in the restaurant. Room was quiet. Nice triple room with seating area.
I always enjoy staying in this hotel. The location is perfect. There is an elevator from the covered carpark to the hotel lobby. The staff are always smiling and helpful. It is always spotless. For me this hotel fits perfectly. Thanks.
The room was large, modern, comfortable and very clean. Parking was easy in a lot for the hotel. Breakfast was amazing. We had dinner in their restaurant and it was very good. You could walk to the walled city .
Perfect appartment to visit Nördlingen, 15 min away walking. The appartment has two large comfortable beds, the kitchen is fully equiped, large bathroom and it has its own parking together with a nice garten.
