Room was rather large compared to other European hotel rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel had rare amenities like gym, pool and sauna. Amenities were clean and accessible. Breakfast buffet had great selection.

Superbly comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment was clean and warm (February). It was like a show home. Centrally located in Neufarhn, the S Bahnhof was a 15 minute walk. Neufarhn itself is a lovely town with the Hotel by the Bahnhof having a good restaurant and the Chinese restaurant on the same strasse is well worth a visit. Overall don’t look anywhere else to stay as you won’t find an equally exquisite apartment or location for visiting Munich.
This is an ideal place to stay if you are flying to or from Munich. The hotel is about 50 metres from the S Bahn station giving easy access to the heart of the airport. We checked in and then returned our car to the airport coming back to the hotel by train and stayed a couple of nights in this family run hotel before flying home. It has has a good restaurant ,very popular with the locals and is a refreshing change from the usual impersonal airport chain hotels
The hotel is 10 minutes from the airport on the S-bahn (approximately 30 minutes from central Munich) and it is right next to the train station - incredibly convenient for our last night in Munich. There is a Hoffbrauhaus beergarden attached to the hotel, where we had a lovely afternoon. It's also the only place we stayed in Germany that had screens on the windows to keep the bugs out. Spacious rooms, and I thought the beds were very comfortable.
My two friends and I needed a place to stay with a kitchen the night before our plane took off early in the morning. We had groceries left for one last dinner before leaving Germany so we choose this place. The place was perfect value for three of us. We also had nightcap at lovely beer garden, Garchinger Augustiner which was only 10 min drive. I would recommend both places!
excellent location, just two stops away from the airport, very friendly service, charming old German ambiance, amazing breakfast spread! we had a delicious dinner with beer and wine although we arrived late everyone was welcoming! I loved the family owned hotel and it was a great break from long airport time.
This hotel offers a pleasant and convenient stay with Old World charm. Although the furnishings may be considered dated, our accommodations were immaculate and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, check-in and check-out quick, and breakfast offerings included a wide selection of hot and cold food.
This hotel had everything we could want. Spacious room including a sofa and easy chairs, clean and spacious bathroom, quiet location right near the train station, great breakfast, and a lovely restaurant on site. Charming historic building. We will definitely be back.
This is a good location for access to Munich airport, and the train station is right next door. However, the staff - reception and dining (both breakfast and evening) room make this gasthof excellent. They are patient, friendly and willing to help in many ways!
The Staff was wonderful and Breakfast was very good. Hotel was convenient to Train. Also Taxi to Airport very reasonable. (approximately 15 minutes). Several restaurants within a short walk from the hotel.

Munich airport closed due to weather and we needs a hotel. SOOOO glad we found this one! GREAT customer service, rooms and food was OUTSTANDING! Hotel is next to train station, perfect hotel and location!
We have stayed at this hotel before. The rooms are good for a winter stay, but can get hot in the summer since they do not have a/c. The price is good and accommodations are simple, but comfortable.
Okay place with basic amenities. Things could be a bit better. Outside, on the road, lot of available parking. Hotel too has a parking for 8 Euros per day; I didn't have to use.
It is best value and near train station and very close to airport. So it is easy to travel to airport. But to go shopping in Munich will take around 40min by train each way.
NEXT to the S-BAhn.... which is 1 stop from Airport and in the other direction direct to downtown (Marienplatz) Munich! Thank you Gasthof Maisberger for the lovely room!
