Authentic environment, lots of details and small collections on display. Great breakfast, special care with a 'Känchen Filterkaffee' :-). Enjoyed the spa and swimming pool after a day of walking and sightseeing.

Upon arrival, room was clean and according to expectations.
Renovated in 2014, this family-run hotel is set in the beautiful Eifel Mountains. Guests enjoy free WiFi and free use of the sauna area and fitness room.
Breakfast was good, for German standards (don't expect sausages, beans, or pancakes). We had dinner twice in the excellent restaurant which had efficient and friendly service and good pricing. The garden of the restaurant is very interesting and we loved watching the ducks and the rooster. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with a lot of hiking trails. Don't miss visiting the castle ruins on the Nerother Kopf, just a couple of km from there. Free parking on the premises.
