Very quiet traditional hotel in a rather large town, but is located away from the usual things we don't care for in a city. It was only for one night for a mid point with a car trip but we would have gladly stayed longer.

Waterfront area is hyped as a great place to hang out but wasn't really much. The Altstadt is unremarkable. Walked down the main pedestrian street in the evening and felt that it was now just a place for people to ride scooters and hang out. Not very pleasant. Riding bikes to the train station in the morning---unbelievably badly marked. Would not plan to go back.

Mullheim is mostly a commuters town.
Mullheim is mostly a commuters town. It does not offer much by itself. Our primary reason to stay here was to save money but it turned out it wasn't exactly cheap to say the least. You also need to realise that on Sundays almost everything is closed.

It's a quiet town so don't expect pumping night life.
It's a quiet town so don't expect pumping night life. You can walk about safely and the locals are very friendly. There is a good mix of food options and services. A car is needed for easy connections to other parts of Germany.

nice location at Ruhr river with good walking on the Ruhr river side. Railway station is grotty with dubious people around and the pedestrian zone with many budget zone and ugly buildings from the 1960ies would not win any beauty contest.

there is everything you need. the room is really clean. There are washing machines at the hotel. Big kitchen with everything you need, even the dishwasher, they thought about every detail. plus kitchen is really new and clean. free parking. big tv. In our room we have a microwave, a coffeepot and a tea maker, small fridge,dinning table with tea, plates and appliances. we even got some haribo when we arrived:)
Nice clean modern rooms. Good breakfast spread. Very helpful man at reception who lent me his personal charging cable after I forgot mine and the battery of my phone was about to die. Also advice where to get a cherap replacement cable in Mülheim. Lovely refurbished Mülheim waterfront with loads of restaurants 2 minutes walk from the hotel

Very nice hotel in a calm part of the city. Big room, good breakfast and good location. Also guests can use fitness room and sauna (it was cost 10 euro, but you can use it privately without limitation of time).

Excellent location near the central station, and even though the trains pass so close from the hotel with the windows close you can barely get uncomfortable by the noise.
Great location, Beautiful Hotel, so clean and so quiet. Feel like no one was there, just us. Comfy bed and sleep. So enjoyed! Thank you for having nice time!
