The room was clean, good for an overnight stay on our way to Salzburg. The beds slept well. The location, next to the highway.

Despite being a highway hotel, the hotel was very quiet, so we got a good night's rest. The room was very clean and spacious. The beds were good and there were enough towels. If you are travelling longer distances, I would definitely recommend the hotel for a stopover.
location itself is not the best, BUT, once you step inside the room, your perspective completely changes.
Genius, to make a hotel out of sea containers and have it made at such a high quality.
It completely exceeded my expectations.
It is the perfect place to have a rest along the route. In the city, where Rewe shop is, there is an extremely good location to have breakfast and it is delicious.
Later edit: The minifridge had a bottle of soda, a beer, a bottle of water and a snickers, all free of charge! Very very nice
The staff, the food, the surroundings, the garage parking very useful despite the 5€ for a night. The room was clean, the pool is nice, the breakfast was very good and the dinner buffet too.
The rooms are not in the castle but you still get the surroundings. You should know that the reception and the restaurant are bit far from the rooms and it's a 5 minutes walk by foot on the hill, for us wasn't a big deal.
Nice terrace at the restaurant with a nice view.
The hotel is 10min. walk from the outlet.
We especially enjoyed the amenities in the room as they added a touch of luxury to our stay. There was a complimentary coffee bar in the lobby of our hotel, an inexpensive minibar, robes for the spa, and plenty of towels. Breakfast was included in the cost of the stay and it was beautiful and very tasty. They even had fresh orange juice! The spa was very relaxing, clean, and spacious.
As we were in transit, we only stayed for a night. Everything is clean, neatly decorated and there is room for a family with at least 4 beds. We went for a walk to the end of the village which offers an excellent panorama view to the countryside and the Montabaur castle. We will certainly book again once we need to cross Germany again.
Well nice idea to make a container hotel, but no reception, you get an email in german language, well perfect start if you are arriving at almost midnight. No breakfast facility..., for that money is only free minibar and capsule coffee machine too little. only nice and clean room of "french low cost type of hotel"
it was a lovely trip! The hotel room was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was still some construction work in the upstairs portion of the hotel room, but we just avoided it and our little dog would stay on the patio which was very spacious in itself.
This is a very functional hotel ideal for an over night stop. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the owner is both friendly and competent. The breakfast buffet was constantly refreshed with good quality product and the atmosphere in the breakfast room was calming.
Last minute booking due to traffic trouble in Germany. A nice little gem of a place, glad we did! Tasty food at the restaurant, and great service. Room was super comfy and great for a small family. A worthwhile diversion for an overnight transit through Germany.
Room was quiet, well heated and very comfortable bed, good bathroom/shower. Breakfast was very good as well.
Wish I'd upgraded from a single room.
Only stayed for two nights on business but will use the hotel again, hopefully everything will be open.
The rooms were really decent! Clean! Even though my comment about ‘bad’ things is much longer, it was far better than we expected or similar places we’ve been! And with those prices, really in the city center of Montabaur, I would recommend it.
What a beautiful place to stay.
It’s a whole house so enough space. Feels like being home but also like being away.
Very friendly owner.
Nice location near eg Koblenz, outlet mall and Montabaur itself is beautiful as well.
location was ideal for our purposes. very quiet. not much open for shopping or eating in the area.
hotel very clean, quaint old charm.
beds comfortable- breakfast had a good variety
Surprisingly clean and comfortable hotel for a night. I stayed over night en rout to another city, and was pleasantly surprised. Certainly recommended for just a quick nightly stay.
Great hotel to stay when on the road. Behind the hotel is a big forest. Great when you take a dog who needs a good walk in the morning before taking off on the highway again.
