It was an excellent location due to a change of plans and last minute booking. It turned out to be much better than expected. The evening dinner at the restaurant was excellent--ambience, service and food! The breakfast was also outstanding, with fantastic service and a variety of food choices. There was a nice outdoor area and a lake to walk around with plenty of ducks. Free parking was also nice with large spaces to avoid being dinged by other car doors a big plus.

Clean, everthing you need for simple stayover/holiday.
We had the “suite” with separate bedroom. Our two smll kids could sleep together on the sleeping couch.
Big simple bathroom, both shower and bath which was nice.
Breakfast was ok. Nothing special, but decent.

Very recently refurbished room with automatic windows, TV, desk, sufficient storage space, a quiet fridge (no humming sound). A small kitchenette for tea/coffee on the hallway (no disturbing noise). Very clean. Most central location in town (no disturbing traffic noise, though). Friendly and flexible staff. Out of check-in times, the key can be deposited in a safe box (e.g., for late arrival). Breakfast with egg, bread rolls, reasonable choice of jams, honey, meat, and cheese (1 type only), some fruit, and a yogurt as well as tea or coffee (incl. cappuccino).

This was the perfect location for our attendance at a cousin's birthday party - a few steps from the party location and easy walking distance to my cousin's house. They did a nice job in converting this historic and interesting building into a hotel. The WiFi was strong, and there is plenty of free parking on-site. The rooms are not air-conditioned but there were screens on the windows of our room, so windows could be open without allowing insects in.
