Very close to the Bahnof station, the staff was very friendly, comfy room, cute facilities (a beautiful feels like home tea kitchen).
This hotel is ideally located in the town of Lahr, between the Rhine river and the Black Forest. Here in Lahr the hotel has had a hospitable tradition for almost two centuries.

Surprisingly quaint little town with interesting history of wealth and industrial growth which left behind some very beautiful buildings. Great hopping off point for either Strasbourg or the Schwarzwald.

Cute small town.
Cute small town. Not a whole lot to do but with a car it's easy to get around and see castles and go to little bigger cities and see things.
No real nightlife and most things are closed by 20:00.
Breakfast was amazing ! It was served( once you looked at a sheet listing everything they had). They will also bring you a bit of all the traditional Black Forest breakfast things if you have an challenges with the German list. It is about 3 km from Lahr, about 35 km from Strasbourg. It was worth EVERY Penny!!! Thank you Adler! We loved our Saturday night dinner in the Gasthaus( book in advance!)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in quite a remote location so with this in mind, they do make the hotel very comfortable and there are some very nice little touches which make it feel very homely. The rooms are quite basic but they are very comfortable and clean so no problems there. The breakfast is very good which again, given the remote location is very helpful.
It was a big and comfortable apartment which was well equipped. We stayed for a week without feeling trapped in a hotel.
The prices were fair for any additions even laundry.
It was so easy for a family with kids feeling like home.
Ebba the host was so helpful and nice for the whole time. Grateful she was there
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel- Restaurant Adler very much. There's a lovely garden in back. The gasthaus, where we ate dinner and breakfast, has a lovely outdoor courtyard and garden. The food was really delicious with much attention to detail. The room was clean, large and lovely overlooking the garden.
The location was perfect as we were briefly visiting a friend in Lahr. The room was clean though a bit outdated as decor. When the staff arrived at the Hotel/Restaurant (we had to wait for 20min on arrival as there was none to check us in) they were friendly and quite helpful.
The owners were extremely friendly and always willing to help with any sort of request we had. The response rate was instant.
The room was very clean which is one of our most important criteria. Unquestionably it will be our choice for the rest of the times when we visit Lahr
Was a very cute stay! Instead of a generic hotel, this place felt like a retreat with plenty of green space and several different buildings. The property was beautiful, the room and bed clean, and the staff friendly and the breakfast was tasty!
Very nicely decorated, clean and well-equipped, within walking distance (but down a fairly steep hill) of the Marktstraße, Lahr’s downtown. Pleasant garden apartment on a quiet and leafy residential lane on the hillside above Lahr.
Mrs. And Mr. Alexandra and Alexander Hugenberg are the kindest hosts. They are always available and ready to help :) We enjoyed our stay in their high standard, charming hotel. Wish them the very best luck :)
Lahr is a very good town. Black forest and europa park are close by. The apartment is well equipped. There is an elevator. Apartment is well furnished. Host is helpful and prompt in replies.
The location was great…both for visiting Lahr and much of the Schwarzwald. The people running the hotel helped wherever they could. The property was clean.
