Excellent location, 5 min fast walking from the main train station where the airport shuttle stops as well. Few minutes walk to downtown. Supermarket also a few steps away.
Clean and comfortable, spacey rooms. Excellent beds, even for people with back problems. Pillows a bit soft, but ok. Very good heating, which proved necessary during our stay even though it was May. No noise from the street.
Very kind, communicative and accommodating English speaking staff. Easy check in/out. We asked for an early check-in due to an early incoming flight and our rooms were ready for us upon arrival.
Breakfast on offer was satisfactory, although a bit monotonous if you're staying longer. It could also include more warm/hot options (mostly cold cuts and spreads, the only warm option are boiled eggs).

The location was really nice, with a beautiful view and a beautiful park. The family room was big and comfortable, we also enjoyed breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I think if you want to drive by bus to Lachen, you first need to travel to Memmingen and than back to Lachen. To decide to walk by foot you need an navigation system. Maybe the best you take a taxi 10 to 20€. Speak with the host she is very diligent and can help out.
