The whole Bed and Breakfast was fantastic, from the breakfast in the morning, to the room itself. Me and my partners stay was wonderful and I highly recommend it as a go to place for couples, vacation or just leisure travel!

Kleve is bigger than I expected. We were there to view the University and the general area. There is a great selection of shops and supermarkets. The Zoo was very quiet but really enjoyable and very reasonably priced. Kleve is easy to get to from Düsseldorf and there are lots of bus routes when there but they do seem to finish early (before 9pm). We took the bus to Nijmegan also which was also great for shopping.

Kleve is a quaint, country town with very polite and helpful people. Many people come to visit the nearby Reichswald Forrest War Cemetery which is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commision. It has 7672 allied burials from WWII - serviceman from Australia, UK, Canada, New Zealand, South Africia, Poland and other countries. It is a beautifully kept cemetery, which is very peaceful. Situated in a forest area the sounds of birds are very evident.

Kleve is a very nice discovery!
Kleve is a very nice discovery! Situated on the border of Germany and the Netherlands but far from the chaos of a big city, Kleve is dreamy. Perfect for families. There are so many nice shops and many places to try the German cuisine and also international cuisine! The historic center is restricted to traffic so it is very relaxed, you walk everywhere. Surrounded by big parks and by the river, it makes for a relaxing stay.
The diversity in Kleve is awesome! So many different people from different countries as there is an all English univesity right there in Kleve. Plus it is only about 45 minutes to Weeze airport and very well connected by bus and train. Beside the Rhein Waal university, there is Edeka, a mega superstore where you can find almost anything and do grocery shopping. It is the best grocery store I have seen in Europe! Highly recommended restaurant is Königsgarten and Venga. Also try Hotel Zur Post resto. And dont go without tasting Yoli's frozen yogurt.
I have to say, Kleve is really a great find. Come and discover it yourself! Let it surprise you!

Arrived around lunch time on Sunday.
Arrived around lunch time on Sunday. A couple of minutes walk from the hotel straight into town centre. Plenty of places to eat and drink. SB58 Bus service to Nijmegen a bit erratic and subject to border police checks; make sure you have your passport with you if you use the service. Despite that probably better to use public transport as parking in Nijmegen and Arnhem is expensive. Nice old buildings and parkland. Well signposted cycle routes shared with walkers. Well placed for trips deeper into Germany or Holland. Just over 2 hours from Hook of Holland.
Nice little hotel just not that far out of the city center. I was traveling by bicycle and the hotel did have secure storage and also a large hotel car park. The room was large and comfy, with good wifi, TV and bathroom.
Only a 5-minute walk down to the wonderful river, main city center, and castle. The Teargarden and forest walks were all within 15min. Great little town to visit.
A friendly, traditional family-run hotel conveniently located in a quiet residential street less than 5 minutes from the town centre. Our room had its own terrace. The owners were very helpful and provided secure parking for our bicycles. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied. Good value all round.
The area around with the lake and the staff of the hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and big. We felt really comfortable surrounded by nature. Also you can buy a beer or take a coffe if you want. I recommend this accomodation. It was very pleasant staying for us.
Breakfast was good served at table on second day. We were allocated a family room for the two of us and had a separate seating area. Location right in the centre of Kleve. Only downside was the limited hotel parking , but we managed on each day to find a space.
Centrally located and well equipped apartment, with wonderfully comfortable beds. Having access to parking nearby for 10 Euros per week is a real bonus. Would definitely recommended for an enjoyable stay with easy access to everything Kleve has to offer.
Great location in Kleve, 5min car ride to city centre. Renovated barn/farm with original features.
Welcoming host, very comfortable beds, clean and elaborate breakfast.
Telly in room. Tea/coffee facility in main area (10 steps away).
Location in town near shops. Restaurant attached was very good. Free hotel Car park spaces but hard to find. Rooms good size with squashy bed. Bathroom good too.
